I would be comfortable walking your pets, staying over, or housing your animals.
I rent currently as have recently sold my second home. I have a large fenced yard that backs onto a park and over the road is the hutt river. We are also a 10 minute walk from the Petone Dog beach! My two poodles are fully vaccinated and would prefer fully vaccinated dogs also. To protect the health of my own dogs. However, as both my dogs are nuetured, yours would not have to be. 
We spend a lot of time at the beach in Petone and I have made a number of regular dog friends on my walks :) animals have always taken well to be and Jakeb loves small dogs especially.&nbsp;

My name is Micky, I live with my wife and kids (6 and 8 years old). Our family have always loved animals and often look after pets for friends and families. Since our dog passed a year ago we have been missing having a dog. I am highly active and enjoy the outdoors, in particular walking the various tracks around Wellington. Perfect for tiring out those dogs that are full of energy.I often understand the struggle of finding time to walk dogs or have them cared for while you're away so am offering my time and service to help others like myself. I can provide the following services;- home visits to owners house to feed and check on pets- dog walking services - happy to walk dogs on or off the lead depending on owners preference and happy to walk any sized dog.- Pet boarding in my own home(this would be more suited to small-medium sized dogs that are neutered and are comfortable around children). I am a reliable trustworthy and caring pet carer. Pets are beloved family members and you can trust that I would care for your pet as if it were my own - with plenty of care, kindness and affection.
I have had pets my whole life (dogs and cats). I currently have a dog, Luka (two year old medium goldendoodle) and until recently had a beloved cat Max, who has sadly since passed away. 
I am comfortable with dogs and cats and happy to give any medication. In particular I am experienced treating cats with hyperthyroidism and the daily medication needs that come with that. Also comfortable giving injections.
I have put in a significant amount of effort to train my dog Luka and know how important it is to manage dogs to ensure they are safe and being positively reinforced for the right behaviours. This also means I will be a bit selective on what dogs I will take on - they need to be a good fit with Luka in the terms of temperament and training.
I love getting out and about for walks around Wellington. It's great fun to take dogs out of these trails and give them a good work out in new spots with lots of new smells. Any dogs I walk need to be friendly and good walking with other dogs (as Luka will join me on all walks). 
I am happy to answer any questions you may have. It's important that you find someone who is the right fit for you and your pet and who you can trust to care for your pet. I will always follow the specific instructions you have for your pet and ensure your are regularly updated.I live in the Northern suburbs so prefer to provide my services in the Northern Suburbs through to Porirua (Khandallah through to Titahi Bay).
Some specific questions about my services:
1. I am comfortable administering medication to pets. I have experience in particular administering injections, giving oral medication and dealing with cats who take ear gel for hyperthyroidism.&nbsp;
2. Happy to assist with usual day to day grooming of dogs (i.e. brushing and bathing, if needed).&nbsp;
3. Happy to look after multiple dogs from the same home but I won't walk or care for dogs at the same time that aren't already from the same home.&nbsp;All dogs must be comfortable around other dogs - my dog Luka will always be about and it's essential any dogs staying with me get on with him and fit into our lifestyle. 
4. I work full time but have flexible working arrangements so am able to work from home all week if needed. Thursdays and weekends are my best days for availability at the moment.&nbsp;

My name is Phoebe, I am 27 years old and have a 4 year old lovebird named Sushi. I am aware that New Zealand has a shortage in help for bird owners needing bird sitters. 
I will be able to ensure your bird gets adequate play/fly time out of the cage, cuddles (if wanted), bathing time, fresh food and water everyday and adequate sleep at night in a dark and quiet environment. 
I will also ensure your bird or birds are away from any cooking fumes, candles and other dangerous toxins. I have extensive knowledge in different species and can also look after larger birds. I understand that all birds have niche needs and will cater to them! 
I live in a flat with 5 others that all love birds too. My room has a lounge area attached to it where I'm able to keep birds. (See images) you will need to either bring your birds cage or a travel cage. 
If you are going to be leaving your bird or birds for a long period of time, I recommend sending voice notes and videos so your feathered friend can be reassured with your voice. I will also send you updates for your peace of mind ️

I'm Ali, a passionate animal lover. I grew up on a farm which is how my love for animals grew. I am a proud owner to two dogs, a rescue heading dog by the name of Jen and a border collie called Dakota. I love the active lifestyle and taking them to new places. We would love to open up our home to a family pet in need of a short term place to stay and looking to be well looked after and loved like one of our family.&nbsp;

Our experience is 16 years of looking after a cocker spaniel named Jake. He got walked twice a day and taken on regular adventures. We loved him dearly. We also have regularly looked after our friend's dogs. 

We would only take one dog at a time or two from the same family to ensure the best care possible. 

We believe in lots of cuddles and outdoor activities for the furry one - if that's what they like. 

Our house is right on a few bush walks in karori and close to a dog park which makes that easy for us. We have a caged boot in our car cushioned out for travel, but would most likely walk to most places. 
We would follow the routine you have already set as a doggy parent to hopefully help them be as little disrupted as possible. 
We also have lots of experience with administering medicines as our dog needed them daily when he got older  

Please note. We have a very sweet girl who is gentle and caring when it comes to animals. So any dog we take would have to be ok around kids - although we wouldn't leave either of them unsupervised.&nbsp;
