For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Piha for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Piha Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Piha sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi there! I’m Anu, a caring and reliable dog lover based in Auckland. I have always enjoyed spending time with dogs and truly believe they bring happiness, joy, and balance to our lives. My motivation for becoming a pet sitter comes from wanting to help dog owners feel confident that their pets are safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re away.
I have experience looking after small dogs and really enjoy their playful energy and affectionate nature. Whether it’s daily walks, cuddles, or quiet companionship, I make sure every dog feels right at home. I keep a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where your little one will be treated like family.
For everyone’s safety, I only accept fully vaccinated pets. I’m looking forward to meeting your small furry friend and giving them plenty of love, care, and attention while you’re away! You can count on me to treat your dog as if they were my very own.

Hi, I’m Geethanjali
I’m based in West Auckland and provide pet walking and home visits for cats and dogs. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust.
During home visits, I make sure food and water are fresh, litter trays are cleaned, and your pet gets attention and care based on their personality. For dogs, I provide safe walks suited to their energy level and always ensure they are secure before and after each walk.
I follow your pet’s routine closely so they feel comfortable and experience as little disruption as possible while you’re away. I’m patient with shy pets and respectful of their space.
If anything unusual comes up, such as changes in behaviour or health concerns, I will contact you immediately and follow your instructions. I’m also happy to send regular photo updates for peace of mind.
I treat every home with respect and make sure everything is locked and secure after each visit.
I’m located in New Lynn and happy to travel around West Auckland.
If you’re looking for someone calm, reliable and caring to look after your furry family member, feel free to message me

Hello!
Harry, my husband, and myself live in our own home in Te Atatu South.
This year we welcomed Maeve, a cavoodle who is now 9 months old into our family and home. Having her has opened up a whole new world to us & we are obsessed with being dog parents! You'll now find us usually at the dog park, the beach, out for walks or in the back yard playing.
We have a fully fenced section with plenty of room to play. Our home is set up for doggies to play & snuggle with us freely in the living area or if they need their own space and time our garage & laundry area is set up to be dog friendly with bedding and toys.
We and Maeve loves the socialising she gets from going to doggy day care and for over night stays with our family and their dogs. We would love to have your doggy stay with us to play with our girl!
Our home is quite small so we would feel best to have small dogs stay with us. Otherwise we are still open to any dog especially as Maevey loves playing with all dogs too!
Looking forward to meeting you & looking after your baby! 🤍

I have had pets for as long as I can remember and enjoy the company of a fluffy companion. We had have cats, rabbits, a labrador and jack Russells.
We recently got a new family member, Poppet, a very friendly, loveable golden retriever puppy. She loves people and so far, seems to enjoy the company of other dogs.We have one five-year-old tortoiseshell cat at our own house so I'm well used to cats and have been on the opposite side of needing people to come in to check on our fur baby. This is why I'm keen to help others in this situation as I know how stressful it can be trying to arrange care for pets.
I have experience with house/dog sitting for friends and work colleagues before and I am happy to walk dogs on/ off the leash depending how good their recall is.
Our two year old is very used to animals and is learning how to act around them and to treat them kindly.

Hi there! My name is Ramnita, and I’m a 30 year old full-time dog mum to my sweet boy Leo. I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life before marriage, I had three amazing pups who filled my days with joy, and now Leo continues to bring that same love into our home. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do it’s something I truly love and enjoy every single day.I have plenty of experience with small breeds, especially those with gentle or playful personalities. I understand that each fur baby has their own little quirks, routines, and comforts and I make sure to give them the same care and attention they’re used to at home. Our house is fully fenced and secure, giving your pup the freedom to explore, play, and relax safely. Whether it’s sunbathing on the deck, having a cuddle on the couch, or a quiet nap after playtime, your furry friend will feel comfortable and loved throughout their stay.I know how stressful it can be to leave your fur baby behind when you’re heading out for a trip or need some time away. That’s why I aim to make the experience stress-free for both you and your pup. You can trust that your little one will be in a warm, caring, and loving environment — with plenty of snuggles, playtime, and one-on-one attention. To help you feel connected, I’ll regularly share photos and videos of your fur baby during their stay, so you can see just how much fun they’re having and how well they’re being cared for. Requirements for Your Fur Baby:Fully vaccinatedToilet trainedUp to date with flea and worm treatmentsSmall breed onlyIf you’re looking for a safe, loving, and happy place for your dog while you’re away, my home is their second home. ️ Your fur baby will be treated like one of the family — with love, care, and lots of cuddles!

Hi! My name is Tilly, and I absolutely love spending time with animals. I have a cat and a dog of my own, so I understand firsthand how important it is to give pets love, attention, and a safe environment. Being a pet sitter allows me to combine my passion for animals with helping pet owners feel confident that their furry friends are cared for while they’re away.
I have experience looking after dogs, cats, and small pets for friends and family, including feeding, walking, giving plenty of playtime, and following routines to keep pets happy and comfortable. Every pet has their own personality, and I tailor my care to match their needs, whether it’s an energetic walk, gentle play, or quiet companionship.
I love going on long walks with dogs, typically about 1 hour, and enjoy exploring new places with them. I am able to constantly look out for your pets whilst in my care, and am easily contactable at all times. I will keep you updated on your pet and in case of emergencies I have mutliple vets less then 10 minutes from me! Of course they are in safe care so nothing will happen, but always good to have backup!
For the safety of all pets, I only take vaccinated animals into my care. I’m reliable, loving, and excited to meet your pets and give them the attention and care they deserve.
