I live in a townhouse with my partner, and caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. My 9-year-old rabbit Pepper currently lives with my mother in Queenstown, although I wish she lived with me. Caring for her over the years has taught me a lot about patience, gentle handling, and the importance of understanding each animal’s individual personality and needs.

I am a mature, caring, and trustworthy pet lover based in Papanui, offering reliable pet sitting for dogs and cats in my local area and nearby suburbs.

As a long-time pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your beloved pets are being cared for in a safe, loving, and responsible environment while you are away. I take pride in treating every pet as if they were part of my own family.

I share my home with Rosie, my friendly 2-year-old Cavoodle, and my two much-loved cats, Pixie (11) and Snowy (10), who I have cared for since rehoming them 6 years ago. Rosie loves people and other dogs, and I enjoy taking her for daily walks. My cats are a big part of our family too and have given me plenty of experience caring for different pet personalities and needs.

I am fortunate to live in a lovely home with a large garden setting, providing a calm and comfortable space for pets to enjoy. I work part-time Monday to Friday mornings and often work from home, which allows me to provide plenty of companionship, supervision, and care throughout the day.

Rosie and I walk 30 to 60 Minutes.  Usually in our neighbourhood or local walkway &amp; parks.  We regularly visit the red zone walking area in Dallington.

I am available for dog boarding in my home with seperate garden spaces and plenty of sheltered outdoor space with a well-insulated dog house if needed. I can cater to indoor and outdoor pets but they must be friendly with other dogs as I have my dog Bailey.&nbsp;&nbsp;
I am also available for visiting your pet in your own home while you're away. Each visit is approx 30mins and can include feeding, cuddling, interactive play time, watering house plants, collecting mail and putting out/bringing in bins if needed. I have experience administering oral medication, ear &amp; eye drops, basic grooming such as trimming nails, brushing, bathing if needed. Short dog walks during these visits can be included if required.

Daddy Dodo is the best behaved, most chill soul on this planet, he has the patience and calmness of an old elephant, he's super accepting of other dogs in his space his energy is very calming to other dogs around him, he engages in play, but to his own pace. He dearly loves other doggy company.

Since I was a teeny tot, my passion and life has revoloved around animals. They bring a happiness to me like no other. Nothing even comes close so, you know you're pets will be cherished and spoilt whilst in my care.
I have qualifications in animal management and have had the privilege of working and rehabilitating animals in my current job for the last 8 years. Previous to this I was volunteering for 4 years. Working with various species small and large. Still to this day I can't grasp the concept of only having one favorite animal. They're all equally amazing.
I have a wide range of knowledge in anything animal related, more so with critter such as rabbits and guineapigs. Medications will be sorted and are no problem for me, I've been doing that with various animals for nearly a decade.
I've always strived to do my best and go above and beyond for any and all animals. Long story short, animals are my weakness. I love them all too much.
I'll be offering dog boarding occasionally at my rural fully fenced house. This offers plenty of space indoors and outdoors and a long walk is included as well as lots of enrichment and tlc. Any dogs that I will have boarding must be fully vaccinated, desexed and be okay with my dog, Lulu and cats that are mainly indoors but can be segregated.&nbsp;&nbsp;
A meet and greet beforehand is essential to ensure the safety of all animals and make sure the animals are having the only the best time possible.

Two years ago I moved to Christchurch for my studies and I no longer have the comfort of my pets around as they had to stay back home.
