For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Dairy Flat for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Dairy Flat Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Dairy Flat sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi there! I’m Anu, a caring and reliable dog lover based in Auckland. I have always enjoyed spending time with dogs and truly believe they bring happiness, joy, and balance to our lives. My motivation for becoming a pet sitter comes from wanting to help dog owners feel confident that their pets are safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re away.
I have experience looking after small dogs and really enjoy their playful energy and affectionate nature. Whether it’s daily walks, cuddles, or quiet companionship, I make sure every dog feels right at home. I keep a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where your little one will be treated like family.
For everyone’s safety, I only accept fully vaccinated pets. I’m looking forward to meeting your small furry friend and giving them plenty of love, care, and attention while you’re away! You can count on me to treat your dog as if they were my very own.

Hello, fellow dog lovers!
We’re a dedicated father-and-daughter team based in sunny Glenfield, offering a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for your furry family members. Our spacious, fully fenced property provides plenty of room to play, along with shaded areas for rest and relaxation—ensuring your dog has a fun and comfortable time.
Meet our resident canine, Mila, a gentle 9-year-old mixed breed with a friendly personality. Mila loves making new friends, whether they have two legs or four, and always brings a calm, welcoming vibe.
With years of experience caring for dogs—including running a doggy daycare alongside our fitness studio, as featured in the New Zealand Herald here—we’re committed to providing the best care for your pet. Your dog will be treated like part of the family, receiving all the love, attention, and exercise they deserve.
Service provided including day care and boarding in a sunny, fully fenced location.
Plenty of area to exercise and shaded space for them to chill and rest.
Feel free to reach out with any questions—we’re here to make sure your dog’s stay is a happy one.

Whether it’s a playful pup, a curious kitty, or even a sneaky snake – I’ve got you covered. I grew up surrounded by animals and have always had a strong connection with them. I’ve even had the pleasure of working in dog walking roles, which only deepened my love and understanding of pets.

A bit about me:
Caring for animals comes naturally to me. I’m bubbly, compassionate, and down-to-earth, and I see every pet as unique and full of personality. I treat your furry (or scaly!) friends as if they were my own – with lots of love, attention, and respect.

Location & Availability:
I’m based in Glen Innes and work in Kohimarama beach, happy to travel across Auckland if needed. I don’t work on Mondays, so I’m fully available then, and I’m also open for morning and evening check-ins or walks throughout the week.

Services I Offer:
Dog Walking: 30–60 minute walks tailored to your dog’s energy levels and needs. I’m also happy to drive them to nearby parks or beaches.
Home Visits: I’ll stay for as long as needed to ensure your pet feels safe, secure, and comfortable in their home.
House Sitting: With previous house sitting experience, I provide reliable care and peace of mind while you’re away.
Personalised Pet Care: Confident in administering medication, light grooming, and catering to specific care routines.

Feel free to message me if you have anymore questions and I look forward to looking after your fur babies!

Hi
I’m Sarah, and together with my partner, we’re loving life in Orewa—especially our beach walks with our cheeky one-year-old miniature dachshund, Douglas. We’d be thrilled to welcome your pooch into our home for some fun playdates and beach walks! We have a fully fenced safe home
Working from home gives me plenty of flexibility to provide attentive care, I take Doug for beach walks so your dog can join me and this is a pawsome chance for Douglas to build his social skills. He’s fully trained, vaccinated, and social, and gets along great with other dogs. I would take no more than 1 dog at a time currently so I can provide supervised care
With five years of dog-sitting experience, I am passionate animal lovers who treat every pet like our own. We prioritise a safe, loving environment, so we’re seeking vaccinated, toilet-trained dogs only at this time.
Please bring the food required for your dogs stay. Let me know in advance if your dog has any behavioural issues I should know about. Let’s arrange a meet-and-greet to see if we’re a good match
Feel free to message anytime—your furry friend deserves the best!
Looking forward to hearing from soon
Sarah

Welcome!
Thank you for considering us to look after your fur-baby! Let me explain a bit about us to help you through this difficult process:
Me and hubby have a 1.5 year Golden Retriever who we absolutely adore to bits - named Ruffles! He is neutered, microchipped, and all up to date with his vaccinnations. He is extremely calm for his age, and thoroughly enjoys going to Bomb Point a few times a week and his bush walks on the weekends. I have had a golden retriever prior as well, who was an absolute goofball! Hence you can be rest assured that your dog is in experienced hands!
Both hubby and myself work full time jobs, however one of us works from home on Wednesdays and Fridays - with the weekends off! Our house (loacted in Whenuapai) is fully fenced and has a nice small-medium sized yard. We will only confirm daycare for your fur baby on days that we will be home
We ensure any and all dogs are well looked after in our care, walked twice a day at minimum! We often like to take Rufffles to Bomb Point Dog Park (he loves to play with other dogs) on weekdays when we can. On weekends we prefer to try a new bushwalk everytime to change things up a bit! Our fur baby is not left alone outside at any time, and any companions joining him will be left inside the house if and when we need to go somewhere, hence your fur baby must be fully toilet trained!
All we would expect any companion joining him is to also be microchipped, up to date with all vacinnations, and toilet trained as well! We are not fussed on whether or not your fur baby is neutered, however would request transperency and honesty if there are any behavioural issues that we should know about! I would humbly request you to consider any behavioural issues that may occur if you have never left your dog at daycare and/or boarding before. For the wellbeing of your fur baby, we will not accept any dogs who have separation anxiety issues.
If you have any questions or concerns at all, please feel free to message me :)

A Loving Home with a Friendly Lab & a Toddler Who Adores Dogs

Hi there! I’ve been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember, and I genuinely couldn’t imagine life without them. Growing up, dogs were always part of the family—there was never a day without wagging tails and muddy pawprints. Now as a parent, I’ve made sure my daughter, who is nearly three, gets to grow up in that same joyful environment.

Our dog Buddy is a friendly black Lab who greets every living creature like an old friend—whether it’s a tiny kitten, a bouncy puppy, or a baby in a stroller. He’s gentle, calm, and always eager to share his toys (and maybe his snacks). The same goes for my daughter—she’s been around dogs since birth and is completely comfortable with them, no matter their size. She knows to be gentle and respectful, and I supervise all interactions closely.

We’re a small family with big hearts and an even bigger backyard that's fully fenced. I’m motivated to be a pet sitter because I truly believe pets are happiest when they’re cared for in a home filled with warmth, familiarity, and love. Whether it’s belly rubs, games of fetch, or quiet cuddles, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe and part of the family.

Yes, I do prefer that pets are up to date with vaccinations—just to keep everyone healthy and happy. I’m flexible, responsible, and always treat pets like they’re my own.

We provide Day care, boarding and dog walking services :)

Looking forward to meeting your furry friend soon!

I am a 42-year-old animal lover who has lived in New Zealand for more than twenty years, and caring for pets has always felt natural to me. I treat pets as family members and enjoy giving them attention, reassurance, and gentle companionship. I have a one-and-a-half-year-old spoodle who has taught me even more about dog behaviour, routine, and emotional needs, and I also look after friends’ dogs occasionally, which has given me experience with different personalities and breed, such as labrador, spoodle, maltipoo and covoodle. Spending time with animals genuinely makes me happy, and I enjoy helping owners feel confident that their pets are well cared for.
I have over ten years of experience working as a restaurant manager, which strengthened my reliability, organisation, communication, and sense of responsibility—qualities that carry directly into pet care. I am now studying at AUT University to recharge myself and continue growing. I don’t offer pet sitting in my own home, but I visit pets in their familiar environment for feeding, company, playtime, toilet breaks, or dog walks. For wellbeing and safety, I only take vaccinated pets. My goal is to provide trustworthy, kind, and dependable care for every animal I look after.

We are young family with a preschooler & a toddler at home that absolutely adores dogs & cats. We are offering boarding as well as dog walking services. We own our very own standalone home which is fully fenced and has a gate
Both me and my hubby do work full time and we do offer the above services as our HOBBY. We truly adore animals and love to spoil them by taking them for walks, off leash dog parks, beach and forest & also give them treats
Our toddler absolutely loves dogs and cats and he is over the top cuddly with them. We will only look after dogs that are really good with kids. They need to be tolerant to kids and their affection. We obviously give your dog a break by keeping them seperate sometimes so the dog gets his peace of mind.
Below are the must haves

DOGS MUST BE HOUSE TRAINED,
EXTREMELY GOOD & TOLERANT WITH KIDS

Our kids are our priority and I'm sure your dogs are yours. We want both your beloved furbaby and our kids to enjoy each other.
Meet and greet is recommended but we understand sometimes it's not possible but as advised we will accept your dog if you agree with the above MUST HAVE's

Your pet needs to be friendly with cats too
Thanks

Hi, I'm Tori. I left my corporate job to take a proper break, and it's given me the time to do more of what I genuinely love — spending my days with dogs. I live close to a local park and a short drive to an off leash park, and my home has a fenced backyard, so there's plenty of space for a dog to run around, sniff, and just be a dog throughout the day.
My own dog, Rosie, a toy poodle who's almost one, has been my main hands-on experience. She's smart, confident, and gets along easily with both people and other dogs, which has made it fun to socialise her and figure out what keeps a small dog happy and settled. I've spent this past year working through training with her (focus, attention, and scent work) and learning what it actually takes to look after a small dog well day to day. This isn't a side hustle for me; it's something I genuinely care about and want to keep doing.
I'm most comfortable with small dogs and puppies, given my own setup and experience — think toy and small breeds, calm-to-confident temperaments, dogs that are okay around one other small dog. I don't currently take large or giant breeds, dogs with aggression history, since my space and experience are geared toward smaller companions.
A few practical notes: my home is a smoke-free, quiet household with a fenced yard (no pool). I'm generally available during work days, and I ask for a quick meet-and-greet before the first booking so your dog and Rosie can get comfortable with each other first.

Hi my name is Flick, I am a fur pawent to two, stafxLab, litter mates from a rescue. I have worked at a large daycare, an emergency vet clinic, as a puppy trainer, and as a dog walker. I've been working with dogs for four years now and have never felt as fulfilled. Ive had dogs, and other animals, all my life and have a real passion for them. I want nothing but the best for every animal I meet and will go out of my way to make sure that happens.
At Sniffari Co. & Flicks Creature Comforts, I believe every pet deserves a life full of joy, comfort, and tail-wagging fun. Whether it’s a scenic walk, an enriching training session, a cozy home stay, or simply a nourishing mealtime, I treat your pets like my own—with love, attention, and respect. Trust me to make every day a pawsome adventure for your four-legged family members.
