I am an experienced dog mum living in Tauranga who is available to provide walks, playtime, care and attention to local dogs who need it whilst their owners are away or busy with day to day life. 
I own two dogs myself, a lab x huntaway (2 years old) and a lab x border collie (4 years old), which my husband and I walk twice daily. I'd love to help other owners who need assistance and get their furry friends out and about when possible, or pop round to show them some love and attention when needed. 
I am based in Tauranga and looking forward to supporting dogs and their owners from around the area. I thought I would give dog sitting/walking a go as I currently do it daily with our own dogs, so why not help our community in a space I am confident and experienced in whilst I have the spare time to do so. 

I am a previously qualified veterinary nurse with 10 years experience in general practice and emergency afterhours clinics. I have a degree in Vet Nursing from the Royal Veterinary College of London, UK.  I have been pet sitting since 2009 and will look after pets in the owners home and am more than happy to water plants, collect mail as part of the fee. I predominantly feed cats for people in their home if they don't do well in a cattery. I am able to look after dogs also or stay one or two nights in your home, if that is preferrable.I work from home so will do my best to meet your pets needs. My name is Louise, and at 41, I’ve turned my lifelong love for animals into a fulfilling pet-sitting career.
I work from home, offering flexible hours to provide the best care for your pets. My services include cuddles, pats, walks, playtime, and general care.
I sit at the owner’s home, ensuring pets stay in a familiar place, which keeps them more settled without their loving owner there.
I spent all of 2022 and 2023 traveling and house sitting through NZ and the East Coast of Australia, gaining extensive experience in pet care.
I walk dogs for up to an hour, taking them to their usual spots or the beach if permitted. During home visits, I’m happy to water your plants and bring in the mail.
For house sitting, I can stay from 2 nights to 6-8 weeks, ensuring your pets are well cared for and your home is secure. I don’t have a fence at my house, so it’s not appropriate to have animals come to me unless I’m walking them only.

Kia ora animal lovers, I'm Anika, I'm 24 and I work full-time in Wellington CBD. The furry friend in my photo is my brother Zeus, he's a 12 year old Maltese. Our family is big on spending time outside, we love the occasional treat and daily walks are a must to have a productive day.&nbsp;
I grew up around dogs, and a cat. Since moving down to wellington, I have missed having a buddy join me on my walks. My previous experience is with my family dogs which range from small to medium sized dogs, but have dog sat casually for friends with larger dogs in the past. At this stage, my services include dog walking and home visits. I won't be house-sitting or dog-sitting, at my home or yours.&nbsp;
While visiting your home, I take great care in making sure I lock up and leave everything as you left it. I am happy to bring in mail or water your plants if needed. I will take your dog(s) out for a walk and then spend some time playing with them at home. I estimate this taking an hour but am fllexible to reduce or extend this time if required.&nbsp;
Ideally, I like to walk in a dog friendly park if there is one close by, alternatively I would take them for a walk around the neighbourhood. If your dog travels well in a car and you're okay with it, I'm happy to drive them to a park if it's slightly too far out from where you live. I know there are some small dog friendly parks near Karori, Wadestown, and Crofton Downs.&nbsp;
I have experience and am comfortable administering oral medications to small - medium sized dogs. The black poodle cross in my profile had seizures and required two medications taken orally every couple hours. I have also had experience looking after him through and post seizures.&nbsp;
I am usually available in the afternoon and evenings on a weekday, but am free all day on weekends.&nbsp;
