We’re Izzy and Jethro, I’m a doctor and Jethro is a surf instructor and civil servant, and we love dogs!
Back in the UK we’ve both worked part-time as dog walkers and sitters - we’ve just moved to Mount Maunganui. We’ve got an energetic 2-year-old golden doodle who’s currently in the UK with Jethro’s mum, so we’ve got plenty of experience looking after high-energy dogs!&nbsp;
We’ve both had dogs our whole life and have loads of experience looking after and walking our dogs and dogs of friends, neighbours and owners who’ve found us through apps like Pawshake. We both love being outside and we live near Manganui beach, so if we’re looking after your dog there’ll be plenty of walks along the beach!&nbsp;
Depending on our other job schedules one or both of us might be available to look after your dog.&nbsp;


Kia ora! I am originally from The US but have been living here in NZ and Tauranga for 10 years now. I love animals of all shapes and sizes and am passionate about each and every one of them living their best lives! I grew up spending summers on my uncle's sheep farm, and with my own cats, dogs, and birds- so the love has been engrained in me from the very beginning.&nbsp;
I worked for 4 years at Papamoa Kennels and Cattery where I learned how to care for animals under a qualified experience vet. I am confident administering medications and knowing all the signs of a happy and healthy pet! I have continued dog walking and occassional pet sitting since then, but with a more flexible job now I am excited to have more time to commit to those who may need a little extra supoprt.&nbsp;
I have one cat of my own but definitely miss being around dog energy as well. My house unfortunately isn't suitable to host as I don't have a fenced in yard, but I am more than happy to come stay with your pets in their own home, or provide daily walks for those pets that enjoy the exercise outside. I am available most times of the day so can be flexible when providing walks and can do walks 30-60mins at a time. I can be available for any length of house stays- one night or one month!&nbsp;


Thanks for clicking into my profile! I would love to chat about your animal care needs.I have always adored animals, as a kid I got an electric shock reaching over a fence to try pat a cow. I grew up with our close family friends who had gorgeous golden retrievers, a German shepherd, persian cats, ragdolls and a moggie. I learnt a lot about respecting animals, care routines, grooming, administering medicine and a small amount around agility and obedience.
I also have experience with turtles and am quite fond of Guinea pigs and rabbits, I also quite like birds. Let me know what type of pet you have and I'm sure I'll be able to help out!&nbsp;At this point in my life, I am saving for a wedding (which is quite expensive, haha), a Mum to two young girls and an ECE teacher, which doesn't free up much time for us to have a pet of our own, but I do have enough time to give your pet lots of love.
I am available all day on Wednesday, Saturday and Sundays, with after 5pm availability everyday. There are lots of dog friendly tracks within my local area, I can pick your fur baby up and take them from there!&nbsp;
I am happy to bring in your mail or water your plants if you require cat sitting and can stay up to an hour to provide them some additional company, emptying their litter, refilling their water and of course feeding them while I'm there!&nbsp;Let's arrange a meeting to see if I'll be the right fit for your fur babies ️


Hi! I'm a friendly local with a passion for four-legged friends with weekday weekends!My weekend falls twice during the week, and I thought perhaps I could utilise some of that time for others.I've always been an animal person and have been fortunate enough to be able to have Rivers in my life but before he came along, I spent some time working in a doggy daycare, where I was at the time, first aid &amp; CPR trained. Along with the short stint working with dogs, I have some personal experience with reactive dogs, walking multiple dogs at once as well as their training and diets.
I understand all dogs are different so I'll work with you to meet their exercise needs which could include some longer walks, break it up with some training etc. Walks will at least be an hour spent with your pets, the dogs that may not need that long, I'm still happy to spend the remaining time with them at home for some play/brain games or some training.
For pop-ins, this will be at least an hour. I can make sure the pets are fed as needed and tidy up after them including litter trays, yard pick-ups and cleaning any messes that may have been made.
For house sitting, this would be a bit more flexable in terms of availability so be sure to get in touch.
Any medications and instructions will have to be discussed but otherwise I should be fine to administer oral medication as well.

I'm thrilled to introduce myself as your friendly neighborhood pet care extraordinaire. My motivation to be a pet sitter stems from my genuine love for animals. For the past year, I've been passionately involved in pet sitting and dog walking as a side hustle, creating lasting bonds with furry friends. Additionally, I grew up with a variety of animals (as you will see in my photo gallery), which has allowed me to develop a calm and confident approach to pet care.
With a year of experience under my belt doing pet sitting, home visits, and dog-walking as a side hustle on my own, I can ensure your pets will receive the highest quality of care. As we approach summer, I'm eager to find jobs through Pawshake, not only for a source of supplemental income but also to enjoy more delightful getaways while doing what I love. 
It's important to note that I provide in-home pet sitting and dog walking services exclusively, ensuring your beloved companions stay in their familiar and comfortable environment. I look forward to the opportunity to pamper your pets with love, attention, and adventures!


I love being with dogs and am working towards training animals to work with youth at risk. I have my own fluffy pooch who is a certified canine friend and great companion. 
We have a multi level home close to the beach. The back yard is fully fenced and has generous lawn area for dogs to play, some trees for shade and paving stones for wet days!  On hot days we put up a small paddling pool or if you are happy fit in a beach visit. 
I am happy to look after any house trained dog in my own house, or if requiring toilet training I can do this in your own home, for an additional cost. 
I am usually at home with the dogs unless it is for a quick supermarket shop or short meeting. During this time dogs are in a secure area and comfortable, always with water accessed from a drinking fountain. If you have a crate or special bed this can be put up so that they feel at home. 
Being with dogs is my happy place. I have more experience with smaller breeds but am comfortable with dogs full stop. My husband and I are empty nesters and both of us love animals. I am trustworthy and can establish a rapport with dogs quickly.
We will only take vaccinated, toilet trained and neutered dogs into our home, but happy to dog sit in your home if you can't meet this criteria. (Fee may differ depending on travel time)
