Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Queenstown who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Queenstown neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Queenstown dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

Kia ora!
I'm Bridey, a long-term Queenstown local with a genuine love for animals and years of hands-on experience in pet care. From dog walks around our trails to in-home pet sitting, I provide reliable, compassionate care tailored to each pet’s unique needs.
I’ve looked after pets of all shapes and sizes, including some with special medical needs. Whether you're heading away for a few hours or a few weeks, you can trust that your pet will be in caring, capable hands.
What's my why?
Not being able to have my own pets, I love the opportunity to take care of others animals. As I am usually training for a running event of some kind (currently the Queenstown Half Marathon), I love having some four-legged company out on the trails of Queenstown.
I work Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00 in Arrowtown, but am available for pre/post work walks, and weekends.
I am also available for longer term pet-sitting. The past two winters, I have looked after pets, homes, and gardens for the chilly months.
Whether it's for a walk or a week, I'd love the chance to hang out with your animals ️🫶

Hello! My name is Juliet, I live and work in Queenstown, and am keen for some pet playtime and cuddles :) I grew up with pets my whole life (dogs, cats, birds, hamsters - you name it!) and since leaving behind my adored furry friends in the States, have been on the lookout for pet sitting and dog walking opportunities!
My schedule is flexible and I have a NZ drivers lisence + reliable car, for any potential travel to and from the home. I am responsible, gentle, and patient, and have experince in pet training, as well as any additional needs like medication delivery, anxiety-prone pets, and more!
I work full-time Friday-Tuesday, and have Wed./Thr. off. I am free mornings and evenings any day of the week, and anytime on the mentioned days off. I am also open to pet boarding, depending on length of stay, needs, etc.
Please get in touch and I will be eager to chat! Thanks so much and hope to hear from you soon <3
