Hi, I'm Dayna! I'm 31 years old and originally from Auckland and have spent the majority of my life living in West Auckland, now based in Hobsonville.

I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I've previously spent 3 years working at a dog day care where I became experienced in dog behaviour, walking, cuddling and general pet care. I have therefore done petsitting both at home, on site, and at homes, and a number of dog walks. I also spent a month in Costa Rica at an animal rehabilitation centre where we cared for dogs, monkeys, sloths, and more. Prior to this I also volunteered at th SPCA and the zoo in the animal behaviour sector

A little over a year ago I had to say goodbye to my Tibetan Terrier Tarja, who I was lucky enough to be with for over 16 years. She was a huge part of my life, and left a big void when she went. I then moved to an apartment where it is not as easy to have a dog, and moved to a corporate career in digital marketing so don't have as much of an ability or time to work with animals like I used to. For these reasons I want to join up with Pawshake to find dogs that I can share my love and cuddles with, while also offering up some experience.

I am available for walks and house sitting, or just a general stop in to check on your furbaby.

Weekends: available most weekends for house & pet sitting, and drop ins & feeds or walks for any required time (a walk would usually be half an hour to an hour depending on the needs of the dog)

Weekdays: I work from home one day a week (any day) so am available for drop ins & feeds, walks, or day stays if able to work from your home
