Hi there!

My name is Nivelda, I am a 21 year old full time engineering student based in the South Auckland region. My motivation to become a pet sitter is deeply rooted in my lifelong love for animals. I've had family pets for as long as I can remember, and as soon as I was old enough, I welcomed my own dogs into my life. These furry companions, have become an integral part of my family. I take great pride in caring for them with the support of my parents, ensuring they are healthy and happy, taking them on daily walks, engaging in playtime, and providing them with all the love and attention they deserve.

Dog Walking: I offer personalized dog walking services with flexible durations to meet your pet's exercise needs.Walks will be conducted in various safe and stimulating locations, ensuring the well-being and enjoyment of the dogs. These may include nearby parks, providing an open and secure environment for exploration, as well as residential areas for a comfortable neighborhood routine. Nature trails offer a scenic and engaging experience, while dog parks provide opportunities for off-leash play and socialization with other dogs. Additionally, dog-friendly beaches or lakesides can offer a refreshing change of scenery and water play. The specific locations will be chosen based on the individual preferences of the dogs, adhering to leash regulations and prioritizing safety in every environment. I will be available for 2 walks per day that I am available (See availability below). Walks may last from 30minutes to upto 2 hours.

House Sitting: During house sitting, I provide dedicated care to both your home and pets. I am available for extended stays to maintain security and offer companionship to your pets. Ultimately I will be able to stay from 1 - 5 hours (longer stays may be discussed). Regarding home security, I take comprehensive measures to maintain the safety of the property. These measures include regular security checks, ensuring all doors and windows are securely locked, and maintaining a visible presence to deter any potential intruders. I can also bring in the mail, alternate lights, and curtains, giving the house a lived-in appearance. Communication with the homeowner is key, and I am open to additional security requests or specific precautions they may prefer during my house sitting services.

Feeding Services: I provide reliable feeding services, adhering to specific dietary requirements as needed. Medication administration during feeding can be accommodated upon request. This service will be avabile throughout the entirety of the days that I am available. See below for specific time intervals.

Whether during dog walking or house sitting, I prioritize quality time and attention for your pets. I understand the importance of maintaining a familiar environment for fur babies, which reduces stress and ensures their comfort. Therefore, I am not looking to take pets into my own home but rather aim to provide exceptional care in the comfort of their own surroundings.
