About Julianna
Hi! I'm Julianna from Taiwan, currently studying in Melbourne.
I've always been a huge animal lover. Growing up, I couldn't have pets because my mum is allergic to animal fur, but this only fueled my passion! In Taiwan, I spent tons of my free time volunteering at animal shelters or visiting cat and dog cafés, where I learned how to read animal body language and approach nervous or shy pets with patience. I’ve also spent the past year regularly helping friends look after their dogs and cats while they were away, handling everything from feeding to managing high-energy pups.
[My Dog Walking Service]
For dog walking, my standard sessions are 30 to 60 minutes, which I gladly adjust based on your dog's age and energy level. To ensure maximum safety and undivided attention, I only walk one dog at a time (or multiple from the same household). We can explore your local neighborhood, visit nearby dog-friendly parks, or play fetch. I am experienced with basic leash training (reinforcing "sit" and preventing pulling) and am strictly hyper-vigilant—always keeping them on a secure leash, avoiding unexpected encounters with other dogs, and checking the weather to ensure pavement temperatures are safe for their paws.
[Home Visits, Safety & Care]
During home visits, I can feed your pets, refresh their water, clean litter boxes, and give them plenty of love. As a huge photo lover, I’m always snapping pictures! You can expect regular, high-quality photo and video updates of your furry babies throughout our time together so you know they are safe in real-time.
For safety and emergency planning, I always ask for your trusted local veterinarian's contact details beforehand. I carry a basic pet first-aid kit during walks and follow a strict emergency protocol: if any unexpected situation or medical issue arises, I will immediately secure your pet, provide first aid if necessary, contact you right away, and head straight to the nearest vet clinic. I am also comfortable administering basic oral medications or handling pets with separation anxiety.
[Availability & Routine]
As a student, my schedule is quite flexible. I am fully available on weekends, and can do early morning or late afternoon/evening walks and home visits on weekdays.
