Pet-Sitter Background...

Hello! My name is Grace Lehman and I am new to New Zealand from the States! I am 23 years old and I decided to leave my corporate sales job in the States for a chance to explore this beautiful world we live in, which brought me here! I am currently working as an afterschool nanny just three days a week, so I have heaps of free time that I would LOVE to fill with some pet-sitting/walking/etc. I have pet-sat for numerous families over the years and have loved getting to know all the wonderful family pets!

My pet-sitting has included dogs, cats, lizards, chickens, pigs and birds.

I have

no restrictions

for what pets I will watch - size, age, breed, etc. - I love them all! I have done multiple overnight jobs that include staying at the family home while they are away (this is my favorite because then I get to have extra cuddle time with the pets!).

I have included photos of myself with some of my favorite pets that I used to pet-sit for in the States! Unfortunately, my own dog passed away, and traveling to a new country is not conducive to getting a new pet, so what better way to get my "pet-fix" then watching and caring for you sweet pets while you have to be away! I would love to get some snuggles, cuddles, walks and animal love!

I am extremely flexible on what a typical "day of my services" will look like.

I understand and respect that every pet is different and will have different needs, so I reserve the space to say that a "day of my services" will look however you want it to look!

Whether it is just sitting on the couch cuddling with a pet, running around and getting exercise outside, etc - I am happy to be helpful in whatever ways that may be! I am also happy to provide references, please let me know if this is something you would like.

A Little Bit About Myself:

I absolutely LOVE to be outside - exploring, getting exercise, enjoying the fresh air! I am learning to surf (my favorite place is Lyall Bay!) and have also picked up rock climbing since getting to New Zealand. My hobbies include baking (give me allll the cookies!), running outside (even better with a pet!), and spending time in the water! I graduated from University with a double degree in Business - Marketing and Communications. I love the corporate world, but am really enjoying this time away from that world to relax a bit and enjoy the beauty all around us!
