I am a mature, reliable, single female (non-smoker) seeking pet-sitting opportunities in the South Island. I am fit and active and enjoy walking dogs. I have owned dogs most of my life in town and rural settings. I don't have an animal of my own at present and I miss that company!  

I have previous pet-sitting experience. I would love to care for your dog or cat in your home. I do not offer pet care in my home. I would consider some looking after some farm animals, but I would prefer not to look after rodents (eg guinea pigs) or birds. I bond well with bigger dogs, but do not want to deal with one that has social problems or cannot be left alone if I have to go out. I go out every day and enjoy dogs that can be left alone in a secure setting at least 3-4 hours, preferably all day. 

I ask that owners leave me with information to help me make sure your pet is safe, such as phone numbers for the veterinarian, yourselves, and a local emergency contact. I have worked for a vet as a technician so am familiar with how to handle pet emergencies. 

I would consider positions for one week or more.
