I am a calm, sensible and responsible person. In the unlikely event of an emergency,I will promptly respond by reaching out to you and a veterinarian while following your instructions.

I'm available for dog and cat sitting on weekends, and outside of work hours Monday-Friday. I offer morning walks before work and afternoon and evening walks once I'm off work at around 3pm.

I can care for 2 pets at a time and I've taken care of my friend's 2 german shepherds while they were away for 2 days. I have also taken care of my friend's Maltese puppy while she was away 
What my visits include
For home visits, I typically spend 30–60 minutes with your pet, depending on their needs and the service you’ve booked. During each visit, I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, clean up after them if needed, give them plenty of love and attention, play with them, and take dogs for a walk if requested. I can also administer simple oral medication according to your instructions.

What a typical visit looks like
Every pet is different, so I like to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. A typical visit includes greeting your pet, checking that they’re happy and healthy, feeding them, refreshing their water, spending quality time playing or cuddling, taking dogs for a walk if needed, and sending you photo updates so you know they’re doing well.

How I handle emergencies
Your pet’s safety is my top priority. If I notice that your pet seems unwell or there’s an emergency, I’ll contact you immediately and follow any instructions you’ve provided. If urgent veterinary care is required and I can’t reach you, I’ll take your pet to your preferred veterinarian or the nearest emergency veterinary clinic while keeping you updated throughout.
Availability

I’m generally available on weekdays after work, evenings, weekends, and public holidays (subject to availability). I’m happy to discuss your schedule in advance and will always let you know if I’m unavailable.
I care for friendly dogs and cats and will always follow your instructions carefully to make sure your pet stays comfortable and happy in their own routine.

An introduction to me:
I grew up in South Africa surrounded by pets. My friends often referred to our home as a farm. We averaged around 6 dogs and 6 cats at any given time throughout my childhood. We have had a Ridgeback, Great Dane, Shorkie, Basset Hound, Swiss Sheppard, German Sheppard as well as a Shiba Inu and other crossbreeds over the years. My pets always sleep on the bed with me and often sit on the couch with me too. We always played fetch with our dogs in the garden, as well as the odd wrestle now and then. They loved being taken on walks to the beach and playing in the waves.
I love cats just as much (although that love may not be reciprocated, lol). I learned to understand the temperament of a cat and to respect their need to choose you, and that they cannot be told when to be loving and affectionate. Cats seem to enjoy my laid-back personality and eventually come for a cuddle. I have loved the characters we had over the years.
My experience:
I have house-sat and looked after pets in South Africa and Northern Ireland. In South Africa, I house-sat for a week, where I looked after 2 Ridgebacks (and broke up a fight between them- not fun!), as well as 2 cats in that house too. I have looked after another South African family's house and dogs for a week, where I looked after a Border Collie, Belgian Malinois, Kelpie, Collie x Kelpie and Jack Russell.&nbsp;
In Northern Ireland, I house-sat and looked after French Bulldogs on numerous occasions.

Hello, I love animals and I have experience dog sitting for different types of breeds. I am an active person that enjoys the gym, playing different sports and being outdoors. I have always enjoyed nature, I have a Biology degree, and all sorts of animals (fish, cats, birds, you name it). I am Sarai I have just moved to the mount and would love to take your little bff for walks to the beach parks and look after them. I am a very loving responsible active person who grew up around lots of pets since I was a baby and have had lots of furry friends ever since! I lived in papamoa beach for a bit where I looked after our flat dog khaleesi through her surgeries and before and after she got better and we were allowed to run around and go to cafes for treats!
I have lots of experience taking care of my dogs / cats as well as friends safely bringing them home from fun beach walks and I'm looking to get more experience as I'm wanting to go back to New York and do dog walking there as well!
