I grew up with friends who lived on farms, so I have a wide range of animal care experience: Horses, cows, sheep, dogs, cats, snakes, rats, rabbits and chickens. I prefer dogs because they're more than pets - they're companions. I have trained two dogs for the Canine Good Citizen tests, and done basic agility training as well. I only do positive encouragement training, with lots of play time and attention. If your dog or cat is old, or you don't want them trained or tamed for some other reason, please mention it to me.

I spend a lot of time at home, as my family is still waiting for their visas - so I have plenty of time to take care of animals with specific needs. I have done some reptile handling qualifications including dangerous snake handling, but not deadly/toxic animals. I also do not to defense training or attack training with dogs.

I am a family man with three wonderful kids and a lovely wife. I have recently started working in Tauranga but my family is not here yet, so I would like to use my time to take care of and play with dogs and other animals as a great way to catch up on all the love I'm missing from home. I work full time but can spend evenings and weekends with furry friends.

• House training (mostly puppies. Grown dogs are challenging)

• Taming feral / rescue cats
• I have also worked with horses, cows, goats, sheep, rodents, reptiles, ducks and chickens (not training, just caring)
