I have always had a cat for as long as I can remember and love them dearly. I found out about pet sitting recently and love the idea of meeting new cats (and people) while doing a valued service, while I earn some money to help support my artistic endeavours. I understand the idea that someone who really cares is looking after my furry family is a huge relief for people. 

Before covid lockdowns, I was volunteering at the Mangere SPCA cattery and so I have plenty of experience dealing with cats who are unfamiliar to me and looking after them. I would feed the cats, clean their area, help keep them cool in summer, or warm in winter, and of course give them plenty of snuggles and petting. I have a lot of experience in dealing with shy, skittish, and grumpy cats as well since SPCA sees all types come through before adoption. Furthermore, I have had at least one cat for the past 28 years. Only currently without one since my last two passed from old age, one who was a shy but loveable black cat and the other a silly and friendly ginger cat. 

I'm available to visit homes from 9:30am.

I am able to administer eye and ear medications as I have experience doing this with my own cats.

Also happy to water plants, bring in mail, and other daily upkeep tasks.
