Is your dog home alone while you're at work?

Does your dog need more exercise, mental stimulation or simply some quality one-on-one time?

I'm currently studying NZ Certificate Animal Management-Canine Behaviour & Training -Unitec and have completed my NZ Certificate in Animal Care & Welfare. I'm now looking to gain extensive hands-on experience working with lots of different dogs — different breeds, ages, personalities, energy levels and behavioural needs.

I'm passionate about taking what I learn through my studies and my life experience with dogs and putting it into a real-world professional context, while exploring new ideas and approaches that could improve the way we provide canine training, enrichment, welfare and everyday care.

🐶 What your dog can experience

🚶 Local walks — 30 minutes minimum

I'll collect your dog directly from your home while you're at work, take them for a purposeful, enriching walk and return them safely to your property.

🌿 Park, beach & adventure outings — 1 hour minimum

I'll collect your dog, safely transport them (or walk from your place) to a suitable location and give them time to walk, run, sniff, explore and enjoy being a dog.

🏡 Drop-off care — a few hours

Prefer to drop your dog off? That's an option too. Your dog can spend a few hours with me receiving supervised care, exercise, enrichment and positive interaction.

📍 You can see what they're doing

I can provide live GPS tracking, allowing you to follow our route, as well as photo and video updates throughout the outing.

You'll know where your dog has been, what they've been experiencing and — most importantly — that they're having a great time. ❤️

🧠 More than exercise

A tired dog isn't necessarily a fulfilled dog.

Dogs benefit from opportunities to sniff, explore, investigate, problem-solve, learn and make appropriate choices.

I use current, science-based knowledge of canine behaviour, welfare and learning to make our time together meaningful as well as enjoyable.

My approach is positive, reward-based and welfare-focused. I want dogs to want to participate, making training and learning motivating and enjoyable without relying on harsh tools, intimidation or unnecessary punishment.

I'm deliberately looking to work with a wide variety of dogs because every dog is different — and every dog has something to teach us.

My goal is to build genuine practical experience alongside my formal study, learn from the dogs and their owners I work with, and develop new ideas that could benefit the canine training and care industry.

That means your dog isn't simply being taken out for a walk.

They're receiving individualised attention, enrichment, exercise and positive learning experiences, while I continue developing the knowledge and practical skills to become a better canine professional.
