Hi! I'm Kim, originally from the Netherlands and now living in Richmond with my family. I'm a 46 year old animal lover who has grown up surrounded by pets, including dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs and other small animals. Over the years I've also had my own cats, rabbits and hamsters, so I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, happy and well cared for while you're away.

When I was younger, I volunteered at a wild bird rescue centre that also had a boarding cattery, where I gained hands-on experience caring for a variety of animals. I also enjoy horse riding and have experience handling horses. Although I've never owned a horse myself, I'm happy to care for horses by following your routine and instructions. I'm also interested in caring for lifestyle block and small farm animals. While I'm still building experience with these animals, I'm reliable, eager to learn and confident with feeding, checking their wellbeing and following detailed care instructions.

In my professional life, I'm a registered Clinical Psychologist. My work has taught me to be trustworthy, responsible, organised and attentive to detail—qualities that I also bring to caring for your pets and home. I am police vetted and have a public liability insurance, to put your mind at ease.

Home visits (30 minutes) include feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays or cages if needed, giving your pets attention and companionship, and making sure everything is as it should be before I leave. I'm also happy to water plants, collect your mail, put bins out or help with other small household tasks while you're away.

Dog walks (30 minutes) include collecting your dog from home, enjoying a safe and enjoyable walk, and returning them home happy and settled.

During every booking I'll keep you updated with messages, photos and videos, so you can enjoy your time away knowing how your pets are doing. You're also welcome to contact me at any time if you'd like an extra update.

I care for cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, hamsters and other small pets, and I'm also happy to discuss horses and lifestyle block animals. If your pet has a specific routine or medication, I'm happy to learn exactly how you would like their care to be provided.
