April 2925 update: we have recently got a puppy cavoodle so are unable to do any dog sitting for the next few months. Sorry for any inconvenience.My name is Eleanor and I am a teacher at a local primary school. My husband, Steve, is recently retired and at home during the days.&nbsp;

We had a chocolate brown Labrador for 16 years, who immigrated from England with us to NZ when he was 15. His name was Barney and he loved swimming. He came to work with us every day in our florist in London and was well known with everyone in the area.&nbsp;
We can look after fully vaccinated dogs who are friendly around other dogs. We can also take your dog for walks or check in on them if you're working.

I love having furry friends to care for, big and small, from gentle cats to boisterous labs. I have always been drawn to animals, especially cats and dogs. I love giving them attention, affection, hearing them purrr or seeing their tail wag like crazy (dogs of course! If it's a cat then there's a problem!). 
I understand that every home and family is different and will cater to your needs accordingly - prices set out are base prices for a 30min home visit or 30min walk with your pet. I'm more than happy to attend to your home and animal/s for longer and adjusted rates can be discussed and agreed on. 
Your fur baby's health and happiness is of the utmost importance and I will follow your instructions around their care carefully and to the letter. 
Ensuring your K9 is adequately exercised is something I would look forward to, no matter how long or often it's needed - I love to see dogs happy, in their element racing along the beach or doing zoomies at a park. I also enjoy regular exercise and embrace opportunities to be active.

My motivation to become a pet sitter comes from a love for animals, especially dogs. I have two dogs of my own, a Jack Russell and a Maltese-Jack Russell mix, both of who have taught me so much about the importance of providing attentive and loving care. My name is Matt, a 37 year old traveller from Canada! I've been solo travelling New Zealand hiking, camping and climbing some of the most spectacular places I've ever seen! I've had the pleasure of growing up with dogs my whole life. My first dog when I was 3 years old, a West highland terrier. Before these apps ever existed I would walk and house sit for neighbours, family and friends a wide variety of breeds, from havanese, black/golden labs, golden retrievers, labradoodles, German shepards, boxers, whippets, German short haired pointers and weimaraners. I'm experienced with short walks (10min) all the way up to long walks (2hrs) including with multiple dogs at once.&nbsp;
I enjoy an active life and would love to have some furry friends join me on a walk or run. As a solo traveller, I definitely wouldn't be opposed to curling up on the couch to enjoy some pets and scratches!&nbsp;

My services as pet minder/pet sitter is to visit your home once a day to tend to all your pet(s)' needs, which will always include pet feeding, filling up their water bowls and off course lots of attention and reassurance! I can also offer other services as pet sitter/pet minder i.e. cleaning of cages. Happy to water plants (within reason) and clear mailbox put out garbage etc. too.

I have pet/housesat previously for two families, a total of three dogs and a cat, and have also fostered two kittens on behalf of the SPCA. I have administered oral medications. Other services include dog walking, check ups in the evenings during weekdays, anytime on weekends, grooming/brushing, walks and generally keeping them company. I am an open communicator and will ensure you get regular updates. I am more than happy to come to their home and spend time with them while you are away or if they need a bit more company!
I leave early for work in the morning but can be flexible in the evenings and weekends. I work from home two days a week (usually Wednesday and Thursday), so any locations close by I can visit during lunchtimes. Flexible anytime on weekends.
