Hi! I’m Andrea, and I’ve grown up around animals pretty much my whole life, especially dogs. I’ve lived in a few different countries, and wherever I’ve been, I’ve always been around dogs and absolutely loved having them around. I also have a dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust and feel comfortable leaving your pets with.

I’m currently in Year 13 and have a part-time job, but I also have my restricted licence, which makes it easy for me to get around Whangaparāoa and the wider Hibiscus Coast area. I’m responsible, patient and used to caring for others, and being the oldest sister in my family has definitely helped with that!

I’m happy to care for dogs, cats and other small pets, and I’m comfortable with different personalities, ages and energy levels. For house sitting, I’ll stay overnight at your home and look after your pets while keeping to their normal routine. For home visits, I can come by once a day to feed them, refresh their water, give them attention and play with them, and make sure they’re happy and comfortable. I also offer dog walks around 30 minutes, where I’ll pick your dog up from home, take them for a walk and bring them safely back afterwards.

I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, including feeding times, walks, medications or other instructions you leave for me. I’ll also send photos and updates while you’re away, so you can see how your pets are doing. My goal is for your pets to feel comfortable, safe and loved while you’re gone and you feel the same way. I will basically treat them like they’re my own! 🐶❤️
