Since our beloved blue heeler passed a few years ago, we haven’t been ready to add a new member to our pack. Instead, pet sitting has become the perfect way to get our dog fix!

Jake my husband and I have a well-rounded background in animal care. We met ten years ago while working at at Woodfalls dog kennel and cattery in Dairy flat. Jake and I were responsible for feeding, cleaning, and administering medication. I also worked for Walkies, walking dogs of all breeds and sizes. Jake grew up on a farm, surrounded by animals his whole life.

We live just a stone’s throw from Orewa beach and the estuary mouth “dog beach.” I also love walking at Wenderholm Regional Park (on the dog-friendly side), and honestly, it feels like a crime not to have a furry companion by my side—so let me borrow yours!

Jake is a tattoo artist, we have a private studio downstairs which is where he he works out of full time, the studio opens up to our north facing covered garden area which is where the dogs usually chill during the day. I am a flight attendant so although I am away sometimes when I am home I am extremely flexible during the weeks for doggy day care and beach walks. Our 4 year old son Arrow is absolutely dog crazy and I know that he will feel such a sense of achievent to help us care for your pooch.
