Hi - I'm Kiaana. I'm 26 and have been lucky enough to be surrounded by animals for the entirety of my life. Growing up, my best friend was my beautiful Maremma sheepdog, Xena. It was her gentle, kind and playful nature that nurtured my love for animals from a very young age. Since then, my life has never been complete without the company of an animal. I have a gorgeous and goofy Border x Bearded Collie named Tiggy and a beautiful and funny cat named Wolfe. They adore each other. At least, Tiggy loves Wolfe anyway...

I wanted to become a pet sitter because I understand how hard it is to leave a pet alone at home. Leaving can be daunting. We want our pets to have the best possible care when we are away. I understand that.          

My experience is with a variety of animals but I have great experience with dogs and cats. 

Dogs: I've always had a dog in my life, whether that be my own or taking care of friends & Family. From large breed dogs such as German Shepards & Maremma Sheepdogs, medium breeds such as Blue Heeler, Border and bearded collies and small breeds like Spaniels & chihuahua's; I've had experience with many different sizes and breeds. 

My parents have a family of five Border Collies whom I also care for, with boundless energy and large personalities. With experience in all sizes, energy levels and many dogs at a time, I'm happy to help all pet parents! I've also helped whelp puppies, and have experience with dogs who have hip & elbow dysplasia and require special routines/diets.

Cats: I, too, have always had a cat in my life. I have a special interest in rescue cats who require more attention and time to adjust to their surroundings. I've cared for cats with illnesses and medical conditions that require close monitoring and gentle care. I've had many cats in my lifetime, and understand they need love, attention and quality playtime. 

My services: I would love to offer my services to anyone who needs their dog(s) and/or cat(s) cared for at their home. 

Home Visits: I will happily visit your dog(s) and/or cat(s) during the day. Each visit will be about 30 minutes. I can feed, play and make sure your pet has lots of love while you're away from home. I'm happy to do one or two visits a day. 

Dog walking: I love getting out for a walk and I'm happy to pick up your dog and take them for a walk around your neighbourhood. Walks will be for at least 40 minutes (depending on your dog's needs). 

I'm also happy to combine a home visit with a walk 😊
