I have loved animals all my life and especially dogs. There's something about them that makes me smile every time. I cannot pass by a dog without a word and hopefully a pat. My husband also loves dogs but we're nervous of getting our own as we had a very sad experience with one that we adopted a few years ago privately. We're both 70 years old, fit and healthy with a real desire to have a dog(s) in our life even on a temporary basis. We have a fully fenced backyard that is perfect for dog sitting. Your pet would be able to sleep wherever he/she is most comfortable and used to, including on the bed. We live in Warrington with easy access to the dog friendly beach there. We would take the dog to the beach on a daily basis or any number of other places nearby suitable for dog walking, rain or shine. Your pet would be loved to pieces as we're both very affectionate toward dogs. Prior to moving back to New Zealand from Canada, we had lots of experience dog sitting for friends and family and we continued to pet sit on a word-of-mouth basis as people appreciated the care, commitment and kindness we showed towards the animals. We have also done pet sitting for friends in Warringon. We don't have any of our own pets in the house, nor any children, just the two of us. I work part-time while my husband Gary is fully retired.
