Hi, I’m Charisse!

I’ve grown up around animals my whole life — my pets have ranged from fish, budgies and bunnies to dogs and even a chameleon! I’ve always had a genuine love for animals and have naturally become the go-to pet sitter for friends and family whenever they head away.

I know leaving your pets when you’re away can be stressful, so my goal is to give you peace of mind knowing they’re happy, comfortable and well cared for. I’ll make sure they get plenty of love, attention and care, while keeping them as close to their usual routine as possible. Will happily send photos and updates on their day, so you don't miss them too much!

I’m currently a proud dog mum to Freckles, who is well looked after while I’m out caring for your pets, so I can give your pets my full attention while I’m with them. I do work around 34 hours a week mon-fri, so there is plenty of flexibility outside of these hours for pet sitting, overnight stays, dog walks, and check-ins which will include, feeding, play time, clean up if required, and topping up water bowls. I’m more than happy to work around your pet’s individual routine and personality — whether they’re energetic and love a good walk, or prefer some company and a quiet spot to relax. I am confident to give oral medication or any other medication as required.

For dog walking services, I’m happy to walk your dog one-on-one, or, if they’re friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs, Freckles would be more than happy to join them for a walk, we usually go to the beach, through the waterways or around the neighbourhood in Papamoa.
