Hi! My name is Melissa, I am a 22 year old in my 5th year of Vet school at Massey University, Palmerston North. I love all animals, big and small and am passionate in caring for all animals. I have great experience in looking after pets and would love to continue this throughout my degree by looking after your beloved pets. From my experience in small animal clinics, I know and am confident in administering medications, and have learned calming and low stress handling techniques. 

While I am caring for your pet, I will be in good communication with you; sending photos and keeping you updated on how good of a time they're having with me! As a student in a flat with no pets, I am very pet deprived as I have grown up with pets by my side all my life. I am beyond excited to meet your pet and become one of their new best friends.

Dog Walking

I love running so I will happily give your pet a good tire out if they love running too! I have my full licence and a car (5 star safety rating). I am more than happy to drive to the beach or another of your pets favourite destinations.

Home visits

I can be flexible in visiting your pet and give them a cuddle and play at any time of day. I am open to staying with your pet for a longer period of time if need be. I will be happy to carry out small tasks such as feeding, giving clean water, walking, administer medications and more! 

Pet and House sitting

I am confident in house sitting multiple pets for multiple nights. As well as caring for your pet, I will keep the house to the same standard as I walk in by cleaning, taking out rubbish, bringing in mail etc. As requested by you, I am willing to be at your home for certain time frames during the day.
