Hi, I’m Sofia, a first-year student at Massey University and a passionate animal lover! I’d love the opportunity to care for your dog and make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away.

I grew up walking dogs with my mum, which taught me how important patience, consistency, and paying attention to each dog’s individual personality and needs are. I’m comfortable walking both energetic and more relaxed dogs, and I’m always happy to tailor each walk to suit their age, fitness level, and routine.

Your dog’s safety is my top priority. I’ll always keep them on their lead unless you tell me otherwise, avoid unsafe situations, make sure they have plenty of water on warmer days, and follow any instructions you provide. If anything unexpected ever happens, I’ll contact you immediately and make sure your dog receives the care they need.

As a very active person, I genuinely enjoy getting outside for long walks, rain or shine! My typical walks are around 30–60 minutes, although I’m happy to make them longer or shorter depending on your dog’s needs.

I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I’ll keep you updated with regular messages and plenty of photos throughout every walk. I’ll treat your dog as if they were my own, giving them lots of exercise, attention, and affection.

Mondays are my busiest day, but I’m otherwise very flexible and can spend plenty of time with your pet.
