Hi, I’m Lydia! I’m a lifelong animal lover, currently studying to become a veterinarian at Massey University. My love for animals runs deep and becoming a vet has always been my biggest dream. Growing up on a dairy farm, I was surrounded by many animals from an early age, and caring for them quickly became second nature. I’ve had hands on experience with a wide range of animals both large and small. I am passionate and care deeply about animals and how they are cared for. Previously I have house sat for families with cats, dogs, sheep, calves, pigs and chickens!

What motivates me most as a pet sitter is the opportunity to provide loving, attentive care while helping pets feel safe and happy in their own environment. I understand how important it is for pets to maintain their routines, and I treat every animal as if they were my own, with love. I especially enjoy taking dogs out for walks and making sure they get plenty of exercise, fun and enrichment.
