I am a mature Vet student studying at Massey University currently in my 4th year. I love animals and take any opportunity to get in my animal fix when I can, as I don't have any animals of my own currently living at my flat with me. All my animals live at home with my parents in Hamilton (currently 2 male cats and previously a dog) I miss them very much when I'm away from home.

I have previous experience with many different kinds of animals through my personal life and previous work as a vet assistant. I am a confident individual who has a passion for caring for animals. Personally, I grew up with cats and dogs. 

I'm an active individual who while not studying loves to get outdoors and be active. I would love to have my own pets but currently while studying it is not cost-effective so getting in amongst jobs like this allows me to look after and care for animals without having the long-term commitment. I intend to have many animals once I am qualified and settled down. I would love to have the opportunity to help you out and pet-sit/walk your animal. 

I go for a lot of walks down by the river and if I have the opportunity to walk your dog I can take it anywhere as I have a car and a full license. I'm happy to take them for a short (30-minute) walk or a long walk (1 hour -1.5 hrs) depending on what your dog's needs are. I love being outdoors when I'm not studying and being able to do this with a furry companion would make it all the better. I am reasonably flexible with times around my university schedule but most likely will walk either first thing in the morning or the late afternoon/evening. 

If you require home visits or house-sitting I can do any other jobs while there such as watering plants, collecting mail, putting out the bins, or any other duties you require around the house. I'm happy to spend as little or as long as you like at your house with your animals. In amongst giving them cuddles and attention, I can bring my uni work to complete in my downtime. I am also able to administer any medications that your pet may require while I look after them as I've had plenty of experience with this in the past with my pets, previous work experience, and whilst being a student on placement.
