I’m a friendly, reliable animal lover based in New Plymouth, and I understand how important it is to know your pets are happy, safe and well cared for while you’re away.

I offer dog walking, home visits and house sitting, with a caring, flexible approach tailored to each pet’s individual needs, personality and routine.

Dog Walking

I love getting outdoors and exploring nature, and I’m happy to tailor walks to suit your dog’s age, fitness, energy levels and preferences. Whether your dog enjoys a relaxed sniff around the neighbourhood or a longer adventure, their comfort and safety will always come first.

New Plymouth has some beautiful walking options, including the Coastal Walkway, Pukekura Park and local neighbourhood trails. I’m happy to discuss suitable locations based on your dog’s needs and what they’re comfortable with.

Home Visits & Pet Care

During home visits, I can provide feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, playtime, companionship and plenty of affection. I can also administer oral medications and apply topical treatments when clear instructions are provided and your pet is comfortable receiving them.

I understand that every animal is different. Some love attention and cuddles, while others prefer a little space and time to build trust. I’ll always respect their boundaries and follow their usual routine as closely as possible.

House Sitting

When staying in your home, my aim is to keep your pets feeling comfortable and secure in their familiar environment.

I’ll follow their usual feeding, walking, sleeping and care routines, while treating your home with the same respect and care as my own.

The amount of time your pets may be left alone will depend on the booking, their individual needs and our agreed arrangements. I’ll always discuss this with you beforehand to make sure expectations are clear and your pets receive appropriate care.

Communication & Peace of Mind

I know how reassuring it is to receive updates while you’re away, so I’m happy to send photos and messages to let you know how your pets are doing.

Above all, I want your pets to feel safe, comfortable and cared for, and for you to enjoy your time away knowing they’re in good hands.
