I was born and raised in Canada and always had two dogs. As I went into uni and eventually flatting, there were always animals around in the house, whether dogs or cats. We even had a goat for a bit! 

I have been in New Zealand for the last five years working as an engineering geologist, and find that sometimes it gets a bit quiet and I miss having animals around. I love talking dogs for walks, whether on bigger missions or just down the street. Similarily, coming home to a little cat skipping away from the door as you arrive home is a simple yet wholesome feeling. For me, I can't get my own animal right now, so being flexible in taking care of other family pets is the next best thing!

Currently, I often pet sit for some of my coworkers and friends with the animals coming to my home or I go to their house. It is often easier for me to go to theirs and keep a routine for the pet when the owner is away. 

I am available to house sit with your pet. I can stay for as long as required for you to enjoy your time away and feel confident your pet is happy and your home is well looked after. I can administer oral medications and am happy to wash and brush out your pet. If I am completing a house-sit, I will take the necessary security precautions to make sure your home is safe and treated well (water garden, mowing lawns, etc.) while your pet and I remain there.
