Hi again , John writing this for you , I have been volunteering at the SPCA Nelson for the past 2 years most afternoons with the canine department, helping out with the cats now and then. I have always loved the animals, and always had cats and dogs throughout my life.
At the shelter I work with all kinds of dogs and puppies, it's been heartwarming, and at times heartbreaking,..
It's been too expensive to rent my own abode and so a couple years ago I had to have the Renwick SPCA find Lizzie the Huntaway cross a home, which they did, and I have been renting a caravan. The lady ladies cat Patrick and the neighbors cat Cloud make the most of the caravan too. And so for me, spending time with them, and the dogs at the shelter is really awesome.
