I’m 31 and live in beautiful, magical Mangawhai with my husband, who is also my best friend. I absolutely love animals and genuinely enjoy getting to know their different personalities, quirks, and needs. There’s nothing better than making a new furry friend!

I’m an outdoorsy person who loves walking, exploring, and staying active, so your pets will get plenty of fun, exercise, attention, and cuddles while they’re with me. We’re lucky to live close to the beach and water, with lots of beautiful walking tracks nearby.

Walks can range from a relaxed 30-minute stroll to a longer adventure of a few hours, depending on your pet’s age, energy levels, and what they’re comfortable with. I’m always guided by what your pet enjoys and needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

If I’m house sitting, I’m more than happy to explore the local neighbourhood and find some great walks, or stay home for some playtime, cuddles, and company. Whether your pet loves a big adventure or is happiest curled up on the couch, I’m happy to accommodate them.

At the moment, I’m not working, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate to your pets. I can be flexible with visit durations and am happy to work around your schedule and your pet’s routine as much as possible.

I don’t have children or pets of my own, so when your pet is in my care, they can be my primary focus. I understand how important it is to leave your pets with someone you trust, and I’ll treat them with the same love, care, and attention I would want for my own.

Our home is a lovely, peaceful space with a backyard and deck area. The property isn’t fully fenced, but we’re down a long driveway in a very quiet and safe area. I’m happy to discuss whether our home would be suitable for your particular pet and their needs.

I’m also happy to travel to care for pets, although there will be some limitations depending on the distance from Mangawhai.

Most importantly, I want your pets to feel happy, safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’m very happy to have a chat beforehand, learn all about your pet and their routine, and make sure we’re a good fit.
