About Me & What I Offer as a Pet Sitter

Hi! My name is Chanukie and I’m passionate about animals especially dogs and puppies. Growing up, our home was always full of life, laughter, and lots of wagging tails. We had a spacious garden where our dogs could run, play, and enjoy the outdoors safely. My two siblings and I shared the responsibility of caring for our pets, which gave me hands-on experience in feeding, grooming, training, and giving them all the love and attention they deserved.

With years of personal experience, I’ve become very comfortable around dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I understand the importance of routine, exercise, and emotional connection for pets, and I’m committed to making sure every pet I care for feels safe, loved, and relaxed—whether it's a short walk, a daily visit, or an overnight stay.

Here’s what I offer:

* Dog walking tailored to your pet’s energy and pace
* Home visits for feeding, playtime, and cuddles
* Overnight pet sitting in your home (if needed)
* Basic grooming and care
* Constant communication and photo updates so you can feel confident while you're away

I treat every pet as if they were my own, and I know how important trust is when it comes to pet care. I’d be honored to look after your furry family member!

Hello, my name is Claudia.I am based in Lower Hutt but I'm willing to travel for those who are a little further. Growing up I had different varieties of pets. Ive done pet rescue, fostering and rehabilitation for various pet species and have extensive pet care experience. With pet sitting I have the opportunity to help out and get bonus fluffy cuddles in return. I can take care of any animal with or without vaccinations. If any animal needs special medical assistance or care I have no problem in taking care of them. I am open and willing to help out with any pet that needs specific instructions, care or support. I would love to help as much as I can. I am also willing to assist with any animal personality whether they are friendly or like their own space. As a mum of 2 boys I have an excellent understanding of how to sufficiently and successfully take care of someone and/or something. Hardwork and dedication has never been a problem for me. I have my own vehicle so if need be I can take the animal to the vet. My hours are flexible and can suit most schedules I would be open for discussion regarding on what's needed and needs to be done. Feel free to contact me.

Kia ora! My name is Chrissy & I run Hutt Mutts. I dog walk during the day but I'm keen to offer pet sitting/feeding for small animals too. You can find out more about me on my website! You can Google "Hutt Mutts". I have 3 rescue dogs, 1 rescue cat & 4 rescue hens of my own. I have a lot of experience. I worked at the SPCA, kennels, doggie daycare, vet clinics & founded Wellington Rabbit Rescue. So I'm confident and experienced with ALL animals. I also worked in conservation for a few years. * I can board birds here (if they have their own cage)* I can board rabbits & guinea pigs here. (Guinea pigs must have their own cage).* All other animals I'd do drop ins morning and evening (I am out dog walking 830-430 so feeding/check ins will be either side of that.)I cannot do: dog boarding at home, in person house/pet sitting. Sorry!

Hello! My name is Gabriela, and I would love to care for your furry family members.
Professionally, I am a Biologist with experience in Human Reproduction and Ecotoxicology. However, currently I am a full-time stay-at-home mom (SAHM) for my 2 year-old son and our friendly 3-year-old indoor cat.
I have lived my whole life surrounded by animals, especially dogs and cats. And also for your complete peace of mind, I am Pet First Aid trained.
I follow all instructions and guidelines provided by you, ensuring your pet's established routine and preferences are fully respected. Pets are free to access all rooms inside the house, unless you request otherwise.
Our home features a fully fenced property (photos available) with a private garden, located right across the road from a beautiful park for daily walks. We provide toys, bedding, blankets, and treats. We also have a separate sleepout available if your pet prefers a quiet, private space.
My husband works full-time but is home on some afternoons and evenings. My son is well-trained to respect animal boundaries and loves helping out by tossing a ball or handing out treats if your pet enjoys playing.
Whether you have an upcoming trip or an emergency, I would love to help. I'm very flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. We can work out what works best for your needs.
Because we have a young child and a resident cat, we only host guests that are fully vaccinated and comfortable around children.
I am available for a Meet & Greet. Thank you very much
