My name is Kirsty and I live on a wee lifestyle block complete with cows, horses, chooks and ducks!
After being asked to look after friends' and family's dogs, and as they always have such a fantastic time; I thought I would offer other dogs the opportunity to come and stay! I am lucky enough to have a large rural property that is just perfect for them to run around and have a ball
I am outside all the time and enjoy the company of having dogs around while I go about my farm chores; there's so much for them to see and do and the smells are wonderful!
I put a limit of a max of 3 dogs at any one time, So you can be assured they get lots of attention, pats and exercise!
On top of having the freedom of 10 acres (native bush and paddocks) to run around and explore; we also go for 2 walks a day in the surrounding countryside and with the lake being only five minutes away; there's also the opportunity to take a dip!
Most of the time the dogs sleep indoors but I do have the option of individual kennels and attached runs for sleeping; clean bedding is provided; although you are welcome to bring your own.

Our dogs loved their time with Kirsty – they barely even seemed to notice we were gone :D
Our family member enjoyed her stay as evidenced by several photos sent to us by Kirsty. We are not sure that the rabbits in the warren, or the domestic chickens, ducks, horses and Highland cattle shared the same impression, but they all survived their new friend's attention, thanks to Kirsty's care with detail and lots of exercise for an energetic teenage dog.
