I'm a 25-year-old Italian girl who decided to move to New Zealand. I just graduated in Biomedical Engineering (master's degree) and I'm here to make new experiences. I have 3 cats in Italy and I have never lived without. When I was in Italy, I pet sitted 16 cats and 11 dogs for more than 5 years. I lived in a small town (5k habitants) and I was the only pet sitter so everyone relied on me. I am full of references if needed. I decided to become a pet sitter because I love pets more than everything. I miss my 3 cats terribly and I would like to take care of other pets so I would be (maybe) less homesick. My priority is to make sure that the pet is happy, healthy and comfortable. I had to take care of old pets too so I know how to give them medicine if needed. When my beloved first cat started having health issues (he was 18) I took care of him doing phlebotomy and other stuff. I didn't allow anyone to take care of him, neither my parents. I am reliable because I'm driven by passion and love for animals (all kinds of animals). 

I am available anytime (morning, afternoon and evening).

In my previous experiences I performed many tasks:

• Cleaned up pet messes and provided fresh food and water.
• Walked dogs on a regular basis, ensuring they were kept safe and healthy.

• Communicated with clients regularly regarding their pet's care needs and progress.
• Administered oral medications as prescribed by the veterinarian or client instructions.
• Monitored pet behaviour for any signs of distress or illness and reported any changes to the owner immediately.
• Performed basic grooming services such as brushing fur, trimming nails, cleaning ears.
• Provided overnight stays at client homes during vacations or business trips to ensure continuity of care for their pets.
• Provided emotional support when pets were feeling anxious due to separation from owners.
• Developed long-term relationships with clients and bonded with animals through regular contact.
• Prepared food to meet needs of animals under care with appropriate meals.
• Maintained cleanliness of pets' living areas, including the cleaning of litter boxes and cages.
• Maintained cleanliness of the house, watered plants, emptied the rubbish, vacuumed and so on.

I usually walk dogs 4 times a day but I always adapt to the client's willing.

For home visits service: I will stay as long and I will go as many times as the client wants because I want to make sure that the pet is happy and comfortable.

For dog walking service: I usually do 1h walk during the morning and the afternoon, and 30min walk in the evening/night. Again, I will adapt to the client's willing and do what's best for the pet.

For house sitting service: I can stay all day with the pet as long as the house is safe and in a quiet area. I need to be comfortable to give the best service possible.
