I’m an animal loving American doctoral student at the University of Otago. I grew up taking care of my family’s multiple cats but have always had a love for dogs! My poor mother would have to drag me away from them every time I saw one. Sadly, as an international student, I’m not in a place to have pets of my own. I’ve luckily had the privilege of pet sitting cats, dogs and even reptiles for multiple friends and family throughout the years. Pet minding is a great joy of mine and if I can help someone out by doing it, then all the better!

As a research student, my schedule is very flexible. While I’m typically in the office from 10am-5pm, I have the ability to work from home. Therefore, I can tailor my schedule to what works best for your pet.

Service:

I can provide a mid-day or evening walk for your dogs (30-60 minutes depending on what your dog is up for) or if you are out of town, I can house/ pet sit. If I’m pet sitting, I’ll happily take your dog on my daily walk. I’ll pay close attention to the instructions you provide and be thoughtful about your pet particular temperament when care for them. I can also provide updates on your pet throughout are time together and offer a speedy reply as I’m always checking emails and my phone. I’ll be sure to take care of your animals as if they were my own!
