Hi, I'm Rubie! I'm an equine veterinary nurse with a lifelong passion for animals. Having grown up on a farm, I've been around dogs, cats, horses, and a wide variety of farm animals my entire life. I also have two dogs of my own, so I understand just how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets like family.

I have experience with both house sitting and pet sitting, caring for animals with a wide range of personalities, ages, and needs. Through both my pet-sitting and veterinary experience, I've looked after energetic dogs that need regular exercise, senior pets requiring medication and extra care, and animals that thrive on a calm, consistent routine.

Working in a veterinary environment has taught me to stay calm under pressure, recognise changes in behaviour, and respond quickly if something doesn't seem right.

I currently work full-time Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. I carefully plan my schedule so the pets in my care receive the time, attention, and routine they deserve. I'm available before and after work, as well as on weekends, and/or stay on site at your home if required. making me best suited to pets that are comfortable being left during the day after receiving care before and after work.

My visits typically last between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on your pet's needs. During each visit, I'm happy to provide feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, companionship, medication administration, and plenty of love and attention.

I have my own reliable vehicle, which means I'm able to take dogs on walks, park visits, or other outings if that suits their routine. I'll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away.
