Hey there! I’m Jon 😊

I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking full-time since 2018 across Australia, the UK, Europe, and now New Zealand, completing 400+ sits and walks over that time and building strong relationships with lots of repeat clients along the way.

My pet sitting journey began in Sydney, Australia, where I spent nearly 3 years pet sitting back-to-back. After returning to the UK during the pandemic, I continued my pet sitting adventures whenever possible, caring for all kinds of pets and homes while building long-term relationships with owners who trusted me to look after their beloved animals.

I’ve been in New Zealand since July 2025, and my hope is to call this wonderful place home permanently!

I genuinely love working with animals and spending time outdoors, so this has never really felt like “work” to me. I take a personalised and calm approach with every pet to make sure their individual needs are met while you’re away. Whether your pet is energetic, anxious, reactive, elderly, or just loves company, I always try to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and happy.

I also have extensive experience caring for farm animals and wildlife around the world, including working with endangered wildlife in rehabilitation centres, so I’m always happy working with all kinds of animals and personalities.

You won’t need to worry while you’re away, unless you want to check in, of course 😊 I always provide regular updates and lots of photos so you can feel completely comfortable knowing your pets and home are in safe hands.

Alongside pet care, I also have plenty of experience looking after gardens, veggie patches, and houseplants thanks to years of maintaining my own allotment and large houseplant collection. If you have delicate plants, gardens, or extra household tasks that need attention, I’m always happy to help.

I’m a non-smoker, tidy, respectful of people’s homes, and I pride myself on leaving homes spotless and well cared for.
