Kia ora, I'm Mario. I have a natural respect for the wellbeing and care of pups of all shapes, sizes and life stages. I am constantly learning behaviour patterns to help me understand their needs, promote discipline and continue their training.

I have 5 years experience as an in-home dogsitter - solo and multiple pups. I am available for long term stays over the school/summer holidays and short term weekends/long-weekends. I am a part-time dog-walker with an established business that focuses on longer form bush walks and outdoor experiences. This offers us a variety of walks that would suit your pup and safe transport to get them there. We can potentially join up with them on a pack walk, that would depend on our confidence in keeping your dog safe and stressfree during the walk.

I have recently become a human to my very own pup, Murphy. She has validated my interest in providing the best life possible for her and her pack-friends. She reminds me everyday to learn, and navigate through, what it takes to be a responsible dog owner and carer.

I am open to taking unvaccinated pups. This would need to be discussed prior to any confirmations as I may need to make other arrangements for Murphy. I am willing to help get your pups up-to-date and provide transport for vet visits during our stay.

I'm available to sit between Dunedin and Owaka.
