Hi,

My name is Alexcia and I am an avid animal lover. I am a qualified vet nurse of 13 years, and have 1 small female dog poppy and one medium male dog max. I also have 5 cats that I have had from various rescue litters over my years of nursing. I live with my fiancé at our own house, and we have 3 bedrooms. One room is dedicated to our cats for their 'safe space' and we have a room set up for our dogs.

I have a fully enclosed section, surrounded by lots of grass and space to play. Our backyard is fully enclosed and has a padlocked gate at all times. It is small and large dogs proof with a 6 foot fence surrounding and all fence areas are secured for little dogs that like to dig.

I offer day stay boarding for small dogs and over night stays for long or short periods. I work full time as a practice manager in a vet clinic and am able to take my dogs or any that I sit to work with me. They will be cage free and able to roam with me as I work in a secure office space. The weekends I am home and like to go on walks with my dogs to the local doggy park where there is space on or off lead to run/play/walk.

I prefer dogs to come with all bedding and a crate (if you do not have one I have one that can be used for overnight stays) for overnight long or short term stays. I have found that dogs that use a crate normally feel much more secure and are less anxious. For day stays a bed will need to be supplied as well as leads/collars/registration tags.

I can also cater to dogs that have medical conditions or are on medications (such as diabetics), and have experience with older geriatric dog care as well.

I look forward to caring for your pet and will treat them as a member of my extended family. I will send daily picture updates for long/short stays dogs as well as a update on how they are settling in for the first few nights.

Please note that all dogs must be fully vaccinated/ flead/ wormed/ registered as we have our own pets. I do not accept entire dogs (not desexed) and reserve the right to ask for proof of this as well as proof of vaccinations and up to date flea and worm control. I do not cater to dogs over 15kg due to my property size restrictions.
