I’ve called Wanaka home for 5+ years and absolutely love the lifestyle here - especially getting outdoors, walking, exploring the mountains and making the most of this beautiful part of the world.

I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, including big dogs, so I’m very comfortable around dogs of all sizes, personalities and energy levels. I also love cats and grew up with them too! My parents now have a small rescue dog who is my absolute best friend although she definitely won’t be joining me on house sits!

I dog sit year-round, from shorter 1-week stays through to longer-term sits of several months. My longest sit to date has been 3 months, so I’m very comfortable settling into a routine and giving dogs plenty of consistency, company, attention and love while their owners are away.

I work full-time in a dog-friendly office, so having a four-legged companion around is very much part of my everyday life. I love getting out for walks and adventures, but I’m equally happy with a quiet night at home and a furry friend curled up beside me.

I’m responsible, tidy and respectful, and I treat every home I stay in as if it were my own. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine and little quirks, and I’m very happy to follow their usual routine to help them feel happy and settled while you’re away.
