Hi there! I'm an experienced dog sitter based in Northlake, Wānaka. Having grown up with animals and done lots of volunteer dog sitting and walking over the years, my partner Jackson and I then spent the last two years carrying out sits all over the world with Trusted Housesitters. We received 5 star reviews across the board and had the best time with dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. We have recently returned to Wānaka and adopted our own rescue pup, Benny the Kelpie/Bearded Collie. Benny is a very well behaved dog who loves to play and cuddle with other dogs too. Benny receives a longer walk in the morning and shorter one in the afternoon, which your pup could join in on if appropriate.

As both dog sitters and owners, we know how important it is to have someone you trust and who genuinely loves pets looking after your loved ones. It's important to me tho get to know your pet's individual wants and needs and provide an experience that's customized to their preferences and energy levels. We have a number of walking options available to us locally - from lakeside or riverside cruisy walks to Mt Iron for the more high energy pup.

I work flexibly from home so am available for dog walks, visits and doggy day care throughout the week. Our house in Northlake is large, comfortable and modern and borders a reserve. Unfortunately, the property is not fully fenced but is bordered by a reserve on one side and quiet street on the other. Depending on your dog's personality I would leash them when exploring the garden if needed.
