About Me

I’m all about being responsible, caring, and dependable when it comes to your furry family member. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and maybe even a little bit spoiled while they’re with me.

I live in a spacious apartment with big windows, perfect for soaking up some sunlight. I’m located in Mount Victoria (11C Hawker Street), just two blocks away from Mount Victoria Reserve, which is ideal for daily walks, fresh air, and lots of sniffing adventures!


Dog Boarding

I welcome small to medium-sized dogs and kindly ask that your dog is house-trained. Living so close to Mount Victoria Reserve and not far from Oriental Bay means your dog will enjoy great walks, nature, and a change of scenery every day.


Doggy Day Care

I offer doggy day care for up to 8 hours per day, usually finishing no later than 5 pm so I can plan my day. Your pet will enjoy lots of play, mental stimulation, a relaxing midday walk, and some quiet time if needed. I’m flexible with hours depending on your schedule and available on weekdays and some weekends upon request.


A Little More About Me

I’m a 41-year-old engineer and dancer with a lifelong love for animals. I grew up surrounded by dogs, and that love has only grown over the years. My experience comes from owning pets and caring for the dogs of friends and family. Although I don’t currently have a pet of my own, I’m often asked to pet-sit and genuinely enjoy every opportunity.

To make sure everything goes smoothly, it’s helpful to know your pet’s routine, meal preferences, any medications, vet contacts, and emergency details. I’m here to provide a safe, fun, and loving environment — with a little bit of Spanish flair

Kia ora! I’m Hayley, an experienced and caring pet sitter based in Mount Victoria  
Please note - as I don’t currently have a car, I’m only able to take house visit/sittings in Mount Victoria and nearby surrounding suburbs.

I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and birds, and I always aim to make pets feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable while their owners are away. I work part-time as an Airbnb cleaner in the CBD, which gives me a flexible routine and plenty of time for pet care.

 Services I Offer
• Home visits - feeding, cleaning, playtime, companionship, mail/plants/bins ($30)
• Overnight house stays ($65)
• Boarding in my home ($45)

I’m comfortable administering most medications and can tailor care to your pet’s needs. I also offer daily walks for dogs, usually 30–60 minutes depending on the dog’s age and energy level.

 About Boarding + My Home
I have a small friendly dog called Rangi (Papillon x Jack Russell) who enjoys the company of other dogs. I only board a small number of dogs at one time so I can give them plenty of attention and supervision. Pets can be kept separate if preferred.

Guest pets are welcome inside the home and can sleep wherever they’re most comfortable. I live in a calm, pet-friendly home and can supervise pets for most of the day. When boarding, pets are not left alone for long periods.

I’m happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure everyone feels comfortable 

Hi! Aimee and George here, we are a couple in our thirties who live at our fully fenced home in Lyall Bay with a big back and front yard. We adopted a retired five year old greyhound in 2023, Peggy, who has been an awesome addition to the household. She's very easy going, loves her daily walks, people and other dogs almost as much as she loves a good snooze. 
George works full time remotely from home, and Aimee is currently on maternity leave with our 6 month old daughter Josie. It is very rare that one of us is not home, and we'd always ensure there is a plan in place to make sure at least one of us is around to look after your dog. We are very responsible, friendly and willing to take your lead on how you'd like your pet to be cared for. We understand it's a big deal leaving it in someone else's care and we take it seriously. 
We predominantly are looking to look after greyhounds, Italian greyhounds and whippets, however feel free to enquire regardless of the breed. We offer dog sitting at our home, including walking, however we are fairly flexible about our services, so reach out if you would like to chat!
