For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Lower Hutt for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Lower Hutt Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Lower Hutt sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hello,
My partner, Micaela, and I are excited to meet you and your furry friends. We are currently based in Kingston. Our home has no other pets, children, or babies, providing a calm and focused environment for your pet if you choose our services. We are also happy to come to you if that is preferred.
Micaela has a dog, Pinky, currently living in Argentina. We miss her very much and plan to bring her over to New Zealand, but in the meantime, we would love to offer our genuine care to your pets.
We understand how important each animal is and respect that they all have unique needs. We are committed to providing reliable, consistent, and compassionate care tailored to your pet's routine.
We offer a full range of services, including:

Day Care: Supervised care in a loving home environment.
Dog Walking: Customized walks for exercise and stimulation.
Home Visits: Drop-in visits for feeding, potty breaks, and playtime.
House Sitting: Overnight care to ensure your pets are safe and comfortable in their own environment.

Micaela has had pets all her life and has extensive experience with a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, gerbils, guinea pigs, and rats. I also have one year of focused experience caring for Pinky, which has given me practical insight into daily pet routines and needs.
We look forward to hearing from you and hopefully meeting your special companions soon!

Fun loving and reliable pet sitter that loves adventure and travel!
I love animals but am renting so can't have any of my own so am happily looking to be a pet auntie, I pet sit for my friends and have grown up with pets. I also have the option to work remotely with my job so would love to travel around and see new places through pet sitting.
I am originally from the states but have lived in Australia and New Zealand for the past 12 years. I currently work in a NZ govt agency in wellington. I love hiking, going to the beach, road-trips and just making the most of life. I am very clean, responsible and considerate. I have taken care of birds, rabbits, fish, dogs, cats and also some farm animals.
I am mainly interested in pet sitting, I unfortunately can't host a pet at my home. I am also happy to do walks and have also cared for pets that require medicine and more attention. I have a car so I can easily take your dog to the beach or a hiking trail to have a run around and am quite confident in dog training and behavioral components. I love animals and am really reliable so trust that your pet is in very safe and capable hands!

I offer dog walking, house visits and house sitting services.
