Hello, fellow animal lovers! I’m Zane, a 32-year-old animal enthusiast who’s turned my passion for pets into a full-time commitment. I live in a cozy, detached cottage surrounded by nature, offering a safe haven for your pets with a fully fenced yard for them to play in. My home has a wonderful indoor-outdoor flow that dogs absolutely love.

Meet Zu: I share my home with Zuzu, my 4-year-old Whippet x Fox Terrier. He’s friendly, energetic, and loves making new friends! He can be quite lively at first, but quickly calms down and matches his playmate's energy. Dogs of any size or breed are welcome to stay as long as they are non-aggressive. I also take un-neutered pets on a case-by-case basis.

Experience and Care: My love for animals has been a lifelong passion. Having shared my life with dogs and various other animals since childhood, I’ve developed a deep understanding and skills needed to care for them. My family even owns an animal farm up north, where many rescued animals have found a loving home.

Health First: I prioritize the health of our furry guests. We ensure all pets are vaccinated and treated for fleas and worms. If your pet requires medication (except injections), rest assured I'm happy to administer it. So I can provide the best care, please disclose any medical or behavioural conditions during our meet and greet.

Emergency Care: In case of emergencies, it’s comforting to know that there are two 24-hour emergency vets within a 10-15 minute drive from my home. And for any needs during work hours, Ellerslie Veterinary Clinic and Abbotts Way Veterinary Clinic are even closer.

Comfort is Key: I believe in making your pet feel at home. They can snuggle up on the bed, couch, or floor - wherever they’re most comfortable. If your pet is crate trained, their crate is welcome too. Please bring your pet’s preferred food for their stay, and their bed if they prefer it.

Stay Connected: I understand how much you miss your pet when you're away. That's why I provide daily updates complete with a photo or two to keep you connected with your furry friend!

Flexible Hours: I understand that life can be unpredictable, so I offer flexible day stay services from 6am-8pm and overnight stays from 4pm-10am. If you need to drop off or pick up outside these hours, just let me know and we’ll work something out!

Extra Services: In addition to our day stay and overnight services, I offer a range of extra services for your convenience. This includes a pick-up/drop-off service, dog walks tailored to your pet’s energy level, and even home visits to feed your pet or provide them with some short-term company while you’re at work or away. For our day stay and boarding guests, a walk is included in the service!

Meet and Greet: To ensure we’re the right fit, I encourage a preliminary meet and greet before you book a stay or walk for your pet. It’s a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and for your pet to feel comfortable.
