Annabelle

Hi!

My name is Annabelle. I am a single young-professional in Auckland on a remote-working-holiday. I own a business and work from home on my laptop whilst pet-sitting, so am able to stay home for most of the day to keep your pet company. 

I choose to do dog-sitting because I really love dogs (of course!), I like having my own space, and this allows me to do both whilst exploring lots of new places around New Zealand! 

I only offer dog-sitting for periods of 4 nights or longer, and can do up to two months. Whilst caring for your furry family member and home I am happy to water plants, bring in mail etc. I am security conscious, and always lock up when leaving the house. I will ensure your dog is walked once a day, or more if they require it.

I have plenty of prior experience of pet sitting and back in the UK I foster dogs regularly for the charity Dogs Trust. I have attended several of their training days focussed around proper care for dogs, and working with behavioral issues such as reactivity to other dogs. Through my work with the charity, I have looked after dogs of all sizes and needs, from 6-week-old Pug puppies to geriatric Great Danes. Beyond just feeding and exercising them, I have experience dealing with medical needs such as changing dressings, applying eye-drops or hiding pills in cream cheese.

I am friendly and a bit geeky and will treat your pet with love and your house with the same respect I would treat my own (probably a bit better tbh). My hobbies include walking, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and relaxing with a good book.

I'm currently in Auckland 3 months (January - end of March this year, 2024) and am currently fully booked until the end of January.
