Hi I'm Vania - spending time with animals is my passion, it's what gets me out of bed in the morning. (I'm what they officially class as middle-aged but don't hold that against me haha) Whilst I've done office work for many years, animals are my passion and this is what I now do 100%

I grew up on 50 acre farm just north of Dunedin and loved every minute of it. We had sheep, goats, cattle, horses, pigs, turkeys, chickens, ducks, a variety of dogs such the inside family pet usually a westie or a cairn terrier and there was always at least one semi retired farm dog, as well as pet cats, ginea pigs, and pet rabbits. As children we were included in everything on the farm, rasing bobby calves, bottle feeding lambs, feeding out, bringing in hay and stacking, drenching, tailing lambs. I was the horse obsessed one of the family and I got my first shetland pony at the age of 4, I've had horses my whole life and have many years of experience- references available.

I own 2 dogs, 2 horses & 1 miniature pony Bart, a pet sheep and 2 "rescue" barn cats. I don't own my own land but assist the landowners where my paddock pets live with caring for their donkeys, horses, goats, alpacas, cows and ducks. I thoroughly enjoy looking after animals regardless of whether they are my own or not, they all have their own unique personalities and all deserve the best of care.

I understand how daunting it can be leaving your animals in the care of someone else, there's that worry that the person won't take the care you would, my aim is to makesure you are worry free knowing your animals are in good hands. I am hardworking and observant, and I really enjoy getting to know animals unique personalities. I will keep you updated as much as you'd like, whether it's a daily message or videos and photos of your pets 👍

Currently, I have one weekday morning commitment, but do have a little flexibility so I could do early or mid morning visits if needed. from 6am-7.30am or 9.00am onwards and afternoon visits anytime between 3 - 7.30pm. Dog walking and adventures only available weekdays (unless as part of house visits for owners that are away.) Using the calendar is the best way to see if I am already booked up for certain dates or not.

Available for pet care Southern Dunedin Suburbs from Halfway Bush, Mornington, Caversham, Concord through to Brighton and Taieri mouth, over to Mosgiel/Taieri plains/Waihola and anywhere nearby these areas. Available for:
