Hello! My name's Ruby and I'm a 5th year medical student living in Dunedin. I have a gorgeous black Labrador back home in Auckland (Stella) who I miss very much, and I am looking to fill this dog shaped gap in my life through dog sitting!
I'm able to dog-sit your pet in their own home, with up to 2 dogs at a time (happy to chat if you have more than 2!). I'm only available weekends due to my hospital schedule, but am happy to be with your dog all weekend if that's what you require as I'm often studying on weekends anyway.
I love walking so am also happy to walk dogs, whether this is with or without dog-sitting services.
I unfortunately can't have dogs in my own house as I'm in a pet-free rental, but am happy to house sit (water plants, clear mail boxes etc.) at the same time as looking after your dog in their own home environment.
As well as Stella (who is a guide dog removed from the program), I've also helped raise puppy's for the New Zealand Blind Foundation. I'm therefore very familiar with good dog handling/behaviour and am very reliable with any dogs.
I also take great pet pictures (proven by my extensive camera roll collection) and am happy to send you lots of pictures of your pet while you're away, if that's something you'd want :))
