Guilhem and Jemima

Guilhem: Since I was a child, I've always grown up with dogs. First a Poodle, then a Dalmatian, and when I left France I looked after my parents' Weimaraners. Since moving in with my girlfriend, I've taken her border collie for walks every day, whether it's to St Albans Park, Bottle Lake Forest or any of the beaches around Christchurch. I am very playful with dogs as well as respecting their rhythm and tranquillity when they need it.

Jemima: I grew up around a handful of cats as my mother was allergic to dogs.. as soon as I had my own place I got my first child (Dog) Bluey. I do absolutely everything with her and adore her to pieces. Once Guilhem moved in it was a definite and clear "who's mum?" But that made me feel amazing that she could connect to another person I adored. I am a very active person so enjoy taking my dog for hikes and long distance runs throughout the week. I studied psychology at university and loved the animal psyc part of my degree. My sister is also a vet nurse that made things very easy when my dog doesn't quite feel right. I am a huge animal lover and will treat your dog like my own.

We would like to start being a pet-sitter because our schedules means that we have some free time and we would like to use this free time to relieve some owners while continuing to give affection and joy to their dogs as we love making friends with dogs. We also think that our dog would love to have some friends with her, she is very sociable, playful and cuddly dog and is on the submissive side.

we go for up to two walks everyday, including hikes throughout the week. We believe dogs need to be outdoors and exploring as much as us humans do. Our house is a town house with a small backyard around the house for extra Zoomies and play. The house is surrounded by a 2m fence for the extra bouncy dogs. Our house also has a spare room for when separation is needed or some snooze time is being had. We also have CCTV to keep eyes on who comes and goes at all times, to allow extra security.

We believe it is important for dogs to have social time with other dogs and we will ensure that there is always good communication and effective control between my dog, your dog and other dogs. We also am more than happy to walk dogs without my dog involved if your dog does not interact well with others. Jemima is easy to control dogs as she has good training knowledge with dogs since bringing up her own.

You will understand that to protect our dog, we would not accept non-vaccinated dogs.
