Kia ora I’m Amy,

I’m a responsible, reliable, kind & conscientious animal lover. I grew up on a farm with chickens, cows, sheep, cats and a German shepherd dog. I’m experienced with small, medium and larger breeds of dogs, and different cat breeds. I have always had or lived with cats & dogs, so am confident with feeding them, giving them pats and attention & telling them they are the goodest boy/girl. I have done casual pet sitting, check in’s and dog walks for friends, neighbours and colleagues in the past.

I have a cat and dog of my own (Guillermo a tuxedo cat and Digby a black & tan cavoodle). As I work from home with flexible hours, I can be on hand to care for your fur babies as needed with regular check in’s and 1 on 1 time, or walks.

I know some great nature walks and beaches to take your dogs on an adventure, burn some energy and get them out and exploring during the day while you’re at work or away.

I have had some experience giving oral pet medications, and would feel confident administering with your instructions. If doing house check-ins while you’re away I’m happy to bring in the mail and things like that too. Boarding and doggy day care for well behaved doggos will be considered on a case by case basis, and would be subject to a meet and greet to ensure your dog gets along with my dog Digby.

Rest assured your pets will be very well looked after in my care, be it snuggles, exercise, medication or anything else they need to live their best life. I will take photos, keep you updated regularly and take care of your pets as if they were my own.
