Mathilda

Hi there!

My name is Mathilda. I am originally from France, where I grew up on a farm around dogs, cats, chickens, my own rabbits, guinea pigs and a hamster.

I love being around animals. I am a naturally compassionate, calm and empathetic individual who is attentive to each animal's needs.

My partner is a NZ native and he is the reason I moved over. I have now lived in NZ for nearly 4 years, 3 of which in Auckland. I am currently working a full-time job by the Viaduct. In my free time I like to paint, go for runs or hike in nature.

I miss having a pet and would love to take your furry friend for a walk or check in on it. I am currently available on weekdays from around 6:30pm and weekends.

I have a car and can pick your pet up for a walk or walk it in the area around your house. I live in Epsom, close to Cornwall park and Mount Cecilia park. I also live in a house with a medium sized, fenced garden. I am happy to go for walks from 15 minutes to 1h30 minutes or even a small run if your dog is fit / used to it.

For home visits, I think 30 minutes is a good amount to check in on your pet / feed it, interact with it and make sure it's alright. I can come in for longer if you have any specific tasks to be carried out.

I am happy to give oral medication to your dog if needed or brush it / clean it after a walk. With the right instructions I am pretty flexible! Of course, I always pay attention to any alarm system, lock your house when leaving, ensure I don't leave any valuable items in sight etc.
